Yeah, here. 35k to 57k newtons. The Tank does not survive a bite like that, you can kill them with bullets.
huh...i thought the tank was more powerful than a standered rex...because a tank can't be hurt much by pistols or small machine guns...i mean could you kill an elepant with small machine guns? and shouldn't a punch from a tank be strong enough to knock a normal rex's head pretty hard?...i think the tank would lose to a cyborg...but i think a normal rex is a closer fight
Tanks are a lot like lions or boars. When they're mad just hurting it doesn't stop it, it'll disregard the pain to hopefully kill you.
That won't work when one bite from the Rex crushes whatever part of the tank got bitten so that it's no longer usable.
Big animals with high pain tolerance like Elephants are actually extremely dangerous to just wound. Yes you can kill an elephant with small arms fire, but you can kill a tank with it, too. It takes a lot of little bullets to do, and a charging elephant doesn't really give much in the way of ****s.
There's even a video somewhere of a lion that gets shot in the neck, gets mad and charges, gets shot a couple more times and doesn't even slow down until a bullet hits its' brain. One of the bullets before that had broken its' jaw, it just didn't care.
They developed 'elephant guns', really big rifles, for hunting elephants and other large animals because of this kind of problem.
It should also be noted that attacking a rex's head is the worst way to try and fight it for the Tank. The rex's skull is the most durable part of its body, adapted to absorbing immense forces created from its own bite. Attacking that just puts the tank within nomming range.
