Thor vs. Darth Sidious

Thor meets Darth Sidious in 2 rounds, one in Asgard, the other in the Chancellor's office for Star Wars. Sidious gets his lightsaber and Thor has Mjölnir and both have their normal powers, except Thor is mortal now. Who is the victor in this electrically charged battle?

Film Thor vs. Peak Sidious.

So EU is allowed? Sidious. Easily.

It makes sense. Film!Thor exists in a separate universe from comic!Thor, whereas film!Sidious and EU!Sidious exist in the same.

EU!Sidious stomps utterly.

True but sometimes SW uses film specific characters.. like what may have been needed here.

Thor would win. Palpatine is well known to be infatuated with gorgeous, flowing hair.

Even EU Sids isn't that unbeatable. Sure, he has his force storms which give him a way to win, but those take time to charge and build up. Personally, he'll still be vulnerable to a mjolnir-ing.

DE Sidious is faster than movie Thor though.

Frankly I could see him killing Thor with his saber.

Fight starts, Thor starts whipping his hammer around. Sidious lol's, suspends him in midair, and force chokes him.

Mostly any version of Sidious is faster than movie thor.
