Itachi has the Mirror Shield and Sealing Sword. He can also activate his Susano'o near instantly: faster than a lightning strike.

Ironfist's chi strike has no hope of penetrating Itachi's Susano'o, much less the Mirror Shield. Itachi is literally as powerful as a Japanese (real life lore) demigod, healthy. Rand's minor telepathy is no match for genjutsu much less Itachi's MS genjutsu.
