Bane versus Marv

Well, I don't see Bane crippling Marv before Marv wrecks Bane.

Why not? Bane is faster and is more than strong enough.

How is bane faster? Marv was practically meta human. And banes punches dont equal a sledge hammer. Marv had damage soak for days, and the brute strength to punch through a door and send 2 full grown men flying(literally).

banes strongest punch was the pillar busting hit. He was enraged, it took him nearly 3-4 hits to actually break the pillar, and the pillar appears to be hallow. Hes not competing with marv here at all

He also got hit by a car multiple times and was only stunned.

The speed, durability and strength feats are all stacked in marvs favor. Whereas bane was taken down by a good couple of punches to the face.

I do agree with you on Marv being better than Bane but it wasn't a good couple of punches that took Bane down. It was Batman's arm blades that initially knocked Bane's mask tubes lose.

Before that he was letting Batman wail on his head and it didn't do anything to him.

I was being facetious. My point basically being that all you need do is damage his Mask o'morphine. Which marv has shown ample strength to accomplish.

Okay fair enough, I just didn't want people thinking it was an easy thing to damage the mask. It is pretty tough but yeah Marv shouldn't have a problem damaging it, not that he would need to in order to win.

U dont have to be all defensive about bane. Don't get me wrong i do have some animosity toward Rises and the treatment of bane as a character, and the many plotholes, and pacing issues etc. But what it basically amounted too was that a man who had very recently been essentially crippled was somehow able to fight on par even a shade better than bane for no explicable reason. And he got taken down by the equivalent of nick cage takeing down the merc in raising arizona.

So Marv is a speedster now? Faster than Batman?

I would say yes he is faster. Batman wasnt all that fast in a fist fight. He was just expertly trained and really experienced. It comes down to marvs damage soak tho. Marv took down all comers, with the exeption of the killer born(kevin) who practically dodged bullets.
