Great Darkness ST probably takes him as does any swamp thing around that level. Maybe even when he first meets parliament of trees. Also at no point does Mangog successfully "kill" ST.

Yeah. Mangog would probably have to trap ST in some kind of inanimate matter or just transform Swamp Thing into something else. It's a good thing he can do both of those things.
And, does Swamp Thing get mad?

That would be entirely useless against someone who can both teleport and transmutate. Make yourself familiar
