OK, I did. He said it's the same thing to even easier once the blood gets flowing. He referred to it as a "high".

How is shooting a moving target easier than a stationary one? That doesn't seem possible.

In any event as far as I know there is no way to predict how a randomly selected untrained person will react to a situation like a spree shooting. Research by the US Military suggests that people are very much unwilling to kill people, even people who are trying to kill them, which makes me think your contact is probably not a very representative example. Obviously no one has ever tested this for a school shooting type scenario (except in stupid ways) but it seems to me there are a lot of different possible reactions by the vigilante and the surrounding people. In Oslo, for example, people were convinced that the armed police who arrived to help were also going to kill them.

Shooting both moving and stationary targets compared to shooting both moving and stationary targets. Yes, you read that correctly.

Shooting a moving target is easer than shooting a stationary target because there's that 1/100th chance that the target will walk into the bullet.

You must have talked to a bad-ass real hero. Cool.

MSOR, to be exact. Thanks for asking. 🙂

Sometimes, your smugness gets the better of you. You'll get 'em next time, buddy.

MSOR, eh. Correction then: Bad-Ass +1; Real Hero +2. Didn't ask, just happened to guess [mostly]correctly.

Sometimes your inability to tell when someone's blowing smoke up your ass puts you in silly situations.

I don't know about all that...

I can appreciate you telling me my godbrother is a liar to make yourself feel better...but it isn't working for you, is it? 🙂

Don't worry, I do.

You always jump to the worst conclusions....maybe he was just telling you your godbrother is an idiot that doesn't know what he's talking about.

Don't "cool story" me just after I did it to you, it's poor form.

Bing actually.

People actually have Godbrothers and Godsisters? That's a real thing? I just call them "My Godmother's daughters".

Heh. Godmother's daughters are still fair game! 😄

So anyone hear about the lawyer who's suing Connecticut for $100 million on behalf of one of the 6-year old survivors, and is doing it for the sake of "security"?

People, even relatives, always try to profit from any type of tragedy. Humanity sucks.

What's the big deal? If the kid gets access to even half that, he's set for life.

Cos it's an obvious frivolous lawsuit with the hopes of getting an out of court settlement of a much smaller (but still highly profitable) amount.

It's a scumbag's lawsuit, using a horrible tragedy to profit.

If he's actually traumatized no amount of money will help. It's just about lining a lawyer's pockets with money, or at best a short-sighted, misguided way of "getting back" at the system.

Who cares? Most people who lose their loved ones don't get shit for their trouble. My sister sure didn't. And while I'm sure money wouldn't have consoled her 12 years ago when her mom kicked the bucket, she's 26 now and can't pay her rent; it would have been nice if someone had given her a check for 10 milliin bucks on her 18th birthday, which is what's costs gonna happen to this cat if that lawyer wins this case.

Money doesn't buy happiness but it makes hell a lot easier to live in.

So people should just get money when someone dies just cos? This is your point? Tell me, did you vote for Obama?
