Most Potential/Limited Showings???

What character showed great potential but just didn't have enough panel time? What I mean by potential is caught your eye as a great character but just wasn't used enough by the writers.

My answer is Konvikt and Tutinax. Seem like amazing characters but they didn't get enough screen time. The writers need to use them more.

Richard Rider. He seemed really cool to me, but never really blew up.

Let me beat someone to the punch and say Blue Marvel.

Jeremy Briggs and Mettle if he doesn't survive Avengers Arena

Bronze Tiger, Richard Dragon, Onomatopoeia

Yes Blue Marvel and I'd also say Hiro Kala

I honestly thought Konvikt was crap. I mean, two characters trying to make one interesting one?

Titus was more interesting, imo.

I'm glad we'll be seeing more of the Trench in future Aquaman stories.

I really liked Caiera The Oldstrong as a character too. Such a classy lady.

Agreed. I wish Planet Hulk had lasted at least another year tbh.

Something else I felt was underused was the Blue Lanterns.

The problem is instead of showing more potnetial with more showings, characters usually get jobbed out. If we scratch out this typical occurance: Morlun

EDIT: Nevermind I got the thread a bit wrong cause of carvers examples.

Wrong and Carver go hand to hand

This is probably the best example. Also, just about any character in DC that does not have a connection to Batman or Superman.

Wait, are we talking about characters that needed more appearances because they were interesting?

Because uh...Konvict was complete shit in that regard.

Blue Marvel
Pagan
Nova Prime
Hyperion

Serpent.

Really, if Matt Fraction wanted to force in such a major player for Marvel's interpretation of Asgard cosmology and legend, he really should have been on the Thor title for at least a year or two before building up to Fear Itself. It honestly felt like that there was more explanation and the like done after the event was over than before and during the event, which is whack as hell. In the hands of someone like Jurgens or Simonson or even as recent JMS, Cul could have been given the proper back story and buildup he needed.

Everything involving the Serpent was kind of rushed imo.

It was.

Something like that with the ramifications it has to both Earth, Asgard, and the other pantheons and Hell Realms should have had a full year at the least to build up.
