How do I post images?

I was looking forward to making a respect thread on here, however it is horribly incomplete due to the fact that I DON'T HAVE A SINGLE CLUE ON HOW TO POST IMAGES.

I have tried everything and it has all failed. I am totally lost here. Can someone explain to me how to do this?

Without the *. I think you also need a minimum number of posts before you're allowed as well. Don't quote me on that one though.

Reupload to Imgur and take that asterisk out and then you're golden.
