Darkseid can resist blunt force attacks and cutting attacks better.

Thanos is smarter and a better fighter.
The other depends on which Darkseid, Jobberseid would lose every one for instance.

For the resistance, I give you that some showings from Thanos can be a bit lower that Darkseids, but some of Thanos feats are simply of the charts. Overall, I think he's more durable.

For Thanos, the sole fact that no heralds can hang with him in h2h is a testament to his power.

Only herald character that even hope to give Darkseid a decent fight is Orion and Superman.

With PIS/Cis to stop him, no heralds come close.

All heralds aren't equal though, especially in physical might.
Superman for example is physically more powerful than any herald level being by far. Hulk IMO is not a herald since he can't fly or teleport or is a super speedster.

Thanos hasn't fought any top physically strong heralds in h2h.
I would like to see him fight in h2h Gladiator, Savage Hulk, WWH, Sentry, etc. Thanos only fought lower physical heralds like Surfer, Mar-vell, Thing, Professor Hulk, etc.
Darkseid has consistently fought the strongest herald (Superman) and at times made him look like a child and effortlessly drew significant amounts of blood from the man of steel. Darkseid even has feats of no selling a punch from Lobo causing Lobo's hands to hurt.

IMO, I believe current Gladiator can hang with him in h2h and definitely Sentry and WWH.

Currently Darkseid is stronger than Superman who's a world bencher. Helspont and Darkseid are the 2 physically strongest characters in comics

Stronger Probably about the same, maybe slight edge to Darkseid

Faster Probably the same

More durable Thanos, even though Darkseid while weakened took a hit from a piss off Supergirl, from numerous top tiers, the characters that Thanos survives against are a bit more powerful

A better fighter If they fought I don't think the outcome would come to fighting skill

Best striking power Physically probably about the same, Darkseid's energy attacks are a bit more powerful though since he's 2 shotted Henshaw when he was using the Apokaliptan Soldier Corpse, which can survive a black hole, he's also one shotted Orion, Superman and Agogg

Telepathy: Thanos. I haven't seen Darkseid use telepathy more than communicating with people. It was stated that Darkseids telepathy is greater than Sleeze,. a guy who mind controlled Barda and Supes are the same time. But it's hearsay and feats weigh more

Matter and energy manipulation: Darkseid in this case, especially in matter manipulation via OE

Time travel/teleportation. From what I understand both can teleport at will but I've only seen Darkseid be able to time travel without tech and even toss people through the time stream.

Scientifically maybe a slight edge to Thanos, Darkseid's shown to be a better manipulator though. Overall the same

We don't know if Darkseid is stronger than Superman right now.

Yes, but that was five years before Superman benched any planets, and Superman's power level was growing over those years. from what we've seen, we've no reason to believe he was as strong in JL as he was in the issue where he benched that weight.

Sure, Darkseid will show up again and they might fight, but until he does, we can't assume anything.
