I know a Bannerless Hulk once fought Hercules, Wonder Man, Iron Man and Namor together, and yes was doing very well against them, but that team doesnt hold a candle to Superman, Capt Marvel, Wonder Woman and Power Girl. Like I said, Im a fan of the Hulk, but considering I wouldnt give him the win over Superman alone, I dont see him handling Superman +++ as Despero did.

And a lot of people has fought the JLA and done well against them. Its call ninja law. Every team Hulk has faced, he has done well against them. Hulk has also fought Galaxy Master and he was hitting Hulk with attacks powerful enough to level planets and Hulk ran through it. Galaxy Master is a skyfather and admitted he couldn't stop Hulk outside of gassing him. Hulk high end fts poo poo on any super brick here.
Despero had a good showing but its nothing outside of what Hulk can and has done and let's not forget, a couple of issues after that, Superman defeated Despero.

I dont see why Hulk is only fighting one person on Team DC anyway, as Team DC has the superior numbers, and Team Marvel has 2 of the weakest combatants here (meaning both Thanos and Hulk can be double-teamed, virtually assuring their defeats).
If its the reboot versions, I really don't think double teaming would matter imo.

Maybe you missed my prior post.
I mentioned the diversity involved in the groups that Despero has taken on and defeated.
Namor- Near 100 ton brawler.
Herc- 100 ton brawler.
Iron-Man- 40-80 tonner depending on armor. High tech offense. Ironically enough, it is the Hulk that proves that brute force can overcome Stark's standard tech.
Giant-Man- 40 tons? Great intellect.
Wonder Man- 100 ton brawler with infinite stamina.
Vision- 30 tons. High tech offense, intangibility, ranged attacks.
Of the group 4 are immensely strong but have no versatility in terms of attack. They have to play on the Hulk's terms.
The remaining 2 have incredible tech and range but can be overcome by brute strength.
This is nowhere near what Despero crushed singlehandedly.

Eh, I think you and I have a bit different POV of what Hulk is really capable of, especially against Top Tier characters like Superman.
Not saying Superman won't give him a hell of a fight but in a fist fight...the odds are slim. Hulk has completely dominate Thor and Glads in similar matches and I can't see Superman doing any better imo.
Again, I see this as different to you, I also dont see Hulk dominating Thor or Gladiator, both of which (individually of course) Id give Superman the win over as well. Even just using physical powers as stipulated here (no flight, heat vision, freeze breath, etc) Supermans strength, toughness and speed would allow him to KO Hulk, IMO (and again, Team DC doesnt even need to send 1 person against him, when they can send 2 for the Vast Overkill).

Hulk has already dominated Gladiator and Thor and I wouldn't put Superman that much above either (I honestly think Gladiator is stronger). Superman would do just as good as both, probably better but not in the sense you are making it.

I think youre confusing "dominating" with "doing quite well against", personally. And again, as Id give Superman the win over either Gladiator or Thor, that goes for him fighting Hulk solo as well (again IMHO).
