First thing would be to not wear spandex and a cape. Second would be to address me being powerful but not evil to the earthlings...a protector not a menace. Third would be for me to make a stern statement that I WONT hide my identity but if someone tries to hurt or threatens me with the possibility of hurting loved ones I would have no problem putting a laser through their skull or throw them into orbit at superspeed. Then I would just kind of set back and be a normal person. I would help people if I could but I wouldn't make it my life.

I'm more concerned with the characters. Deadpool, X-Men, quite a few others make the short list of those that I much prefer to offerings in the DC universe.

1. Make my presence known on earth as the person you don't **** with but also the person they could ask for help if needed
2. Go clear a small island, and build a civilization for me, my family and friends (with Supermans speed it would be easy)
3. Live the life

I'd be just like superman except i'd help technologically advance civilization with my super genius intellect, as well.

First, if I had all the abilities of Post-crisis Superman, I'd fly into thousands and thousands of star systems and navigate through their asteroid fields and use my telescopic vision to scope out any platinum which sells for about 1500 bucks an ounce...I'd collect a few hundred thousand tons of platinum, become a trillionaire.

So hard to determine what I would do, I thought about it for a while after reading some of peoples posts.

But I would leave earth and take few choice people with me and start a new world. Even Superman is not strong enough to stop the end of this world.

my program would have two main points:

1 radical curbing of environmental destruction
2 widespread redistribution of wealth and power

this would require toppling and crushing quite a few powerful institutions of course, but for one with SM's power not only would it be easy to physically overpower them, but to empower and redicalize mass political movements aligned with these goals.

Why not just found a Justice League and have them work together to save the world? I feel like abandoning the planet might be a bit hasty.
