Top Gun... 3-D?

My only question: Why? I saw the "trailer" for it during Hansel & Gretel last night along with another for Jurassic Park. I have no problem with it coming back because it is most definitely awesome enough that I would enjoy seeing it on the big screen, by why bastardize such a classic film by throwing in some 3-D gimmicks?

I found that the 2D version gave me nausea. 3D would be (as always) too much of a gimmick.

I hope this bombs. I hate that everyone is trying to rerelease their movies nowadays.

Looking forward to watch this on the big screen. Absolutely no need for 3D though.
