Can, actually...Partly because you cannot prove this shield you keep going on about (which was not big enough to get all the wizards behind anyway, and cast by only one wizard onscreen) effectiveness wise, and cannot justify in any way how its gonna stop the onslaught. And military bombardment is what it is and is known as common knowledge to feck shit up. 🙂

Are you talking about the shield they cast up when Voldemort attacked Hogwarts? It was more then one wizard who helped cast it. I believe 3 or 4. However I do nto recall any Wizard 'Maintaining' the shield. Not to mention I am sure a Nuke would get through it. If the blast was blocked then the Radiation would kill them all.

The fanboy twins don't know that besides a blast, a nuke sets off huge amounts of heat, light, radiation and an EMP. So if they somehow manage to block the concussive force, they'll still be cooked, have their retinas burned out, get radiation poisoning and their electronic watches will stop.
