Not what I asked

If bloodlust is on and CIS off, then the situation will never come up...so what is the point of asking?

I did. But I wear glasses.

It alters the outcome by a great deal. I still believe the military wins, not on bias(which you and Les seem to have more than enough of), but because bullets will shred Wizards left and right. Missiles, RPG's, Grenades, air strikes, choppers, and jets will do the same. Their Super Imperius will let them do much more damage, but I still think military discipline and tech can give them a win. It won't be as easy with an army of super wizards, but it can still be done.
Then quit begging for the thread to change since you already think they win. That's why you're biased.

If he wanted it to be fair, he could have just said the wizards all follow Voldemort.

People under the Imperius Curse can use magic far above their standard and do whatever crap the caster wants. Like Neville flipping around like an olympic gymnast on steroids.

SO he's giving them insane amps(every wizard just as powerful as Voldemort on average, as well as crazy physical stats like super strength), but taking away the downside of them being drones. How is that fair?

Oh shit, I forgot about that. I seriously only did the imperio to give a plausible reason for everyone following Voldemort. I was seriously considering just revising that to, as you said, Voldemort just convincing everyone to follow him. I've been wanting to do that since about page 3, and the only reason I didn't make that stipulation is because, quite frankly, I was tired of you bytching about the other ones.

I can change the stipulation right now, because I want no amps for either side. It's just every wizard from the series vs the US military.

Also, as the wizards don't get imperio amps, the US don't get airstrikes, as that would be far too much of an unfair advantage to them.

These are my final stipulations. Please accept them and begin debate.

I'm biased because I think one side wins over the other after a hard fought battle that will probably have insane casualties because of superior weaponry and weaponry the wizards even with their amps can't stop?

You don't mean you're biased for having no problem with the side you think wins having a massive advantage given because the OP decided it would be better halfway into the debate?

I'm gonna stop myself from being inflammatory, but wow. You are somethin' else.

again, I had NO idea imperio gave amps when I made this thread. I want no amps and no PIS.

I made that post before I saw yours.

You still think the military wins. You cried about a thread in which you think they win anyways. The fact you don't understand this worries me.

Fiendfyre is a mini-WMD. An ultra-fast (Quidditch seeker fast) wizard on a broom casting a fiendfyre at an Apache helicopter would be a spectacle of awesomeness. That spell cast by flying teleporters could alone destroy most of the military forces, but adding in transmutation and telekinesis, unforgivable curses, etc., I don't see how the wizards lose here.

So you don't think the army has any chance of winning?

Just how many wizards are capable of casting Fiendfyre? How many were shown?

Voldemort because he's Voldemort. Dumbledore for the same reason.

Crabbe? Killed himself in the process.

Who else?

I'd reckon aside from the few who used it, and a few powerful Death Eaters like Draco's dad and maybe Bellatrix, no one even knows how to cast it, and those who do can't control it.

Most of the people who can't use it, and try to will probably cause more damage to their own side than the military.

And Brooms don't go that fast. The Firebolt was the fastest at it's time of release in 93', and it clocked out around 150mph. Which is not that fast. Definitely not too fast for a missile lock or automated gun lock.

but simply the combo of Vold and Dumbledore could be enough to take this.

I don't think you understand the concept of a sniper.

You see, sniper teams here will be wearing bright orange fatigues and running out in the open while honking horns.

In fact, the whole of US military will be doing funny stuff like that. Harry Potter wizards need to win; especially Voldermort. Fanboying and such.

Hell, I can think of at least 5 times in the last movie where Tom could have by killed a sniper.

The military clearly get stomped. The wizards can apparate, fly, change shapes, mind control people. It's a stomp. You seem to think snipers can take out anything even moving while in flight. LOL.

The wizards won't be attacking LA since Voldemort isn't vulnerable. This is the reason he went after Harry in the manner he did. He knew his immortality was threatened so he deployed all his forces to kill him. Not happening here.

The wizards cast shield speels. end of story.

Could you point to which movie scene showed that shield spells would work on bullets or bombs?

Only in a Harry Potter fanboy's fantasy. LoL, people shoot flying objects for sport all the time; they're not highly trained stealth assassins from the world's [arguably] most powerful military either. Really depends on the object, distance, speed etc. Stop being a fanboy.

Besides, snipers only make up one small faction of the US military.

Shields, enchantments, luck potions, etc. Voldemort can also read their minds, cast his voice and petrify the opposition. Look at the skill and precision with flying that is required for Quidditch. Nuff said.

Wizards stomp. Military gets wrecked. Start fires without wands. Nothing they can do.
