Well, since we are really still on the first issue I don't see it being a problem either, I wouldn't mind, I'd like it actually.

Of course I couldn't be a judge then.Or could I....
...I couldn't 🙁
....or could I... biscuits
Actually, if I did join I'd probably try to write a Star Trek comic, because they had those for a while, and if Star Wars is fair game...
You are very hard on your own work, yes? You could still be a judge!!!

sounds just like the influence I need...I hear you, though, given I'm preventing myself from writing because I don't want to spoil my ideas, I think it might be appropriate advice in this case, if not a rule I shuld follow in all cases
Something they say in the startup world, but which is also applicable to writing, is that ideas are cheap. Just limiting it to writing (cause I have a thousand app ideas, *understatement*) I probably have 20-30 ideas right now I think would be great, I've probably forgotten a hundred more that I thought at the time were the best thing ever. If I don't execute on them and write them (or for that matter, write them well, which won't happen unless I write more and more regularly tbh) they are completely meaningless. Everyone has (or at least everyone thinks they have) great ideas and a lot of them could be something great if done well...the doing is the important part.
Besides, it's not like you can't recycle ideas down the line.
