I don't think that is a reference for a steel beam. It could "be" but look at the other pictures and they contradict that one.
Plus other parts of the wall has those similar circles. These two feats are just vastly close to one another.

Sure I'll give it a go. I put red circles to indicate where possibly a metal attachment could go.
As on them none are shown. Plus notice no broken hinges/metal flying ala like the other door that Blade ripped off its hinges.
Are yu suggest that the door was reinforced with metal bars. The only circles to illustrate slots for metals bars were the ones you drew in red.
