Flamable Oily Loogies... She Spits out Oil which is Flamable. Not that it is on fire, jsut that it can be ignited I imagine. Otctopus spits out ink! We dont know if it is flamable. And then Mr. Fantastic can be all flat and stuff yet he has bones o.o

I can rationalize this those but I cant seem to think about the Super Strength. I mean an Octopus is strong in its own right but i wouldnt call it super strength. Also things are 'Lighter' under water.

And how is Avacado a Weakness? Will Subway be your cage? o.o

xD I am going to have Snow walk into the Tower with a Subway Avacado sub. 😛

She's supposed to be boneless and super strong because she comes from a really low depth and her species is made up of highly dense muscles. I was trying to make it that she can walk on land and lift heavy stuff but can relax her muscles to fit into tight spaces_like a real octopus. She's not supposed to do both at the same time. If her body relaxes, she can fit into widdle spaces but can't lift a couch clear over her head. If in super strength mode, she can't slip into small spaces until relaxed. ((which takes a few moments of shifts inside her body)).and if she needs to go back to super, it would take a very long time. So she needs to pick and choose what is really needed. The flammable ink can be explained easy since my character is of a made-up species. Instead of just melanin ((looked this up the best I could! Tis natural dye, same that effects hair color)) and mucus ((tis why I call it a loogie, plus it isn't coming out my butt lol)) there is another element mixed in with the ink that makes the ink flammable on land. Kind of like Scarlett Fox explained. It doesn't ignite out of her mouth. If she spits, it's like lighter fluid. :3
With the Avocado weakness, I'm really allergic to Avocado and I thought it would be an interesting thing to have her weakened because some random character decided to get Avocado in their salad. :3 so, being in a Subway would most likely kill her lmao!

Your character is out there, I must admit I think it's silly, but I'm glad that you've genuinely put thought into it. I'm sure with that expalantion and maybe a bit of minor tweaking you'll be accepted no problem.

o.o not meaning to nit pick but Super Strength wouldnt come from the extreame pressure. That would be more Super Human Durability. Which would explain why you can be on land too. If you didnt have the durability and just the strength your body would explode from the release of pressure each time you came out of the water. I would imagine your character, being FROM the Ocean, wouldnt be able to be on land for long periods with lack of water. Like Aquaman. I mean you could go a whole nother route with this type of Character. Because of the depths you come from, you would be able to see in pitch black darkness.

All in all I find it hard to accept the super strength part but there are so many other possibilities for such a character.

Still its up to Starr wether to allow it or not, I am just giving my two bits.

Howsabout you PM Starry your character, Kiro, so it doesn't seem like we're all ganging up on you. That way, you can effectively describe your character and Starry can give you some pointers.

Curious if different tiers of super strength should be introduced souly for the purpose of managing who can do what.
Tearing off car doors and punching threw walls is a different level from the strength needed to toss tanks and thunderclaps.

Oh I liked the earlier idea of the octopi girl needing to eventually be in water and maybe perhaps like Namor her super strength depends on her hydration? Starts drying out so gets weaker, dips in water then can use more power. A nifty limitation/ plot device lol.

🙁 I dont mean to jump at people. I am just trying to figure out characters like Starry did with mine.

^that's cool but it's based off comics, not everything makes sense or has a totally plausible/scientific way of explaining things in comics/cartoons.
Not to say asking is bad but it can be hard to explain certain things other than saying magic. I wouldn't want to have to explain anything above a certain power level like reality warping or whatever lol.

That's why I'm a dude in armor. Simple and easy XP

My bum of a character has made an appearance. Figured someone was back at home base so I could make my presence known. Hope I didn't jump the gun.

Kiro go head with octogirl but just limit her strength to being above a strong male human but not like wonder woman status or whatever.

Maybe Batman level strength? Peak Human seems decent, I imagine.
