I'll do what I can to give you a hand, I'll even rhyme to save some time. 😆Seriously, though, most of the players are very friendly and helpful. If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask.
Freestyle! haermm
I have an idea of what I could do, but I'll need some info on everyone else first to make sure it hasn't already been done. I will also help me devise a personality and such in comparison and contrast to other characters.

Potentially. I'll do what I can. 🙂

Most of the characters in play have their profiles within the first few pages of this thread, so they shouldn't be too hard to find. What's your idea?
My idea is something loosely based on Lucario and Jak. Power-wise, anyways. PM me about it, and I'll tell you more.

Something that will definitely help: Where did you guys find the pics for your characters' appearances?I can't draw characters, so I need to find some form of existing (albeit inexact) representation of my OC.
A lot of imagery is simple enough to find. The difficulty becomes posting or linking it. On average, most players will put images they want into a Photobucket album and link from there.
If you're really having trouble finding a picture, there's another alternative: describe your character through text. This is actually my usual method of detailing a character's appearance, as I usually don't find a picture that I think will fit with the image in my head.
Since I was using Red X for this game, I knew there was a perfect image out there, so it worked out well. This is the exception to my rule, though. 😆
Ok. It's not yet finished, but here's my current character profile. (Areas where help is needed are specified.)
Name : Clive Noble
Alias : (None yet)
Age : 18
Gender : Male
Powers : Auramancy – Clive can harness the emotional energy within himself and others and channel into tangible energy. He is also enhanced by it, and he is able to use it to create weaponized constructs. The power manifests differently depending on the emotion.
Serenity/Peace/Calm (Azure/Vibrant Blue)
- Specialization: Psychic (i.e. force, levitation, teleportation)
- Enhancement: Improved perception, precision, and cognition
- Weapon: Chain Blade
Happiness/Joy/Excitement (Gold)
- Specialization: Energy Projection
- Enhancement: Increased speed and reflexes (roughly supersonic+ range)
- Weapon: Cestus
Will/Resilience (Green)
- Specialization: Molecular Manifestation (creation of simple constructs)
- Enhancement: Increased durability (roughly low multi-city block level at peak)
- Weapon: Disc Shield
Determination/Perseverance (Bronze/Orange/Gray)
- Specialization: Molecular Deconstruction (forcible decay of atoms)
- Enhancement: Increased strength (roughly Class 100 at peak)
- Weapon: Great Axe
Sorrow/Grief/Guilt (Violet/Purple/Black)
- Specialization: Illusion and Debilitation
- Enhancement: Improved intellect
- Weapon: Scythe
Anger/Fury (Red/Crimson)
- Specialization: Destruction and Chaos
- Enhancement: Increased striking power (roughly Class GJ at peak)
- Weapon: Greatsword
Love (Pink/Magenta)
- Specialization: Defense, Support, and Healing
- Enhancement: Regeneration
- Weapon: Tonfa Blades
He is able to sense the emotional energies that surround him, and he constantly takes in this energy. This even allows him to feel exactly what those around him are feeling. This is usually stronger with those he’s close to, or feels connected to somehow. The form of energy he can use at the time is determined by the strongest present feeling. If there is a resident emotional energy surpassing his, his own energy will be overridden, and he will effectively assume that emotional state. If his energy is dominant, it will remain. Though he has trained himself to control and tap into each of these individual energies at will to some extent, but he is still limited to the use of one at a time.
Weaknesses : An excess of negative energy can cause him to lose self-control to the point of reckless abandon. (Has trained to limit this.) Actively tapping into energies requires some level of equilibrium between them. He has never personally felt love, so he is (currently) unable to access it on his own. He cannot harness fear due to the purity of his heart, so he is instead drained by it. Emotional energy reserves can be depleted. If all energies are depleted, he will become weak and ill, and eventually pass out, or even die.
Skills/abilities : Exceptionally skilled martial artist, free runner, and musician (guitar and vocals, self-taught in all mentioned fields).
Personality : (Coming Soon.)
Bio : (NEED HELP HERE.)
Appearance :
Wow, that's a big picture. 😆
Okay, first off, I love the GL color spectrum reference you have with the character. That's awesome. Everything seems solid to me. It says you need help with the bio, but I'm not entirely sure how to help with that, except for maybe one idea for you.
You mention in the powers area that Clive has trained to use his powers. Maybe expand on that a bit. How did he train? Was self-taught, or did he find some kind of mentor? Are there other auramancers out in the world, or perhaps he was noticed by a Lantern?
Just some ideas. Sorry it took so long to reply.

Haha, yeah. I'm still wondering if I should personally credit the artist. Edit: Now that I say that, I should definitely do that as soon as I get the chance.
I actually wasn't referencing Lantern, but I knew it would get mentioned. Lol. haermm Thanks though. I've modified it a bit since then for the sake of clarity and balance.
I've actually been trying to figure ALL of those things out. I doubt I could directly reference Lantern since my overall comic book knowledge is so lax. All good points though. I'll look into it.
It's all good, man. Gives me time to read the story. 🙂
I, myself, am kinda torn about the powers. While I think the idea AND power is kick-ass, it still seems a bit much. With each branch of emotion, Clive has a different power. Isn't the too overpowered?
If he was a singular hero and the story was focused on him, the powers would he perfect because it could be expanded on by how each power works and we could see how Clive would develop. But if the intention is to have him as a Titan, then his powers alone would overshadow everyone else's.
Athena is already the resident telepath/telekinetic. With both Fox's and Phoenix's characters controlling ice and fire respectively, that takes care or the energy manipulation. My character manipulates molecules. So Clive's powers alone would essentially and eventually overshadow and render some characters useless in time given Clive's development.
And then there the enhancements from the emotions. With that, it doesn't really seem like he needs the extra powers since he's getting a boost from the emotions already. And he is constantly absorbing emotions meaning he will never run out of power in a conventional way. You said that the energies can be depleted but how is that possible if he's constantly absorbing them?
But like I said, I totally dig the power. I especially like how most of the weapons reflect the individual power any given emotion provides (if I'm understanding your character correctly.) I also like how Clive's base power (auramancy) seems like Empathy and Energy manipulation meshed together.
Also, it takes a pretty insightful person to be able to determine how an emotion or emotions can enhance a person. Not a lot of people pay attention to how much more perceptive you can be when you're calm or how loving someone can help heal.
Clive's powers are AMAZING and its obvious that you've spent some time coming up with them. But in a story like Teen Titans, I'm not really sure how he can really shine on a team of teenagers without out shining and making everyone else inferior. Clive seems like he deserves to be the hero of his own story.
Just my honest opinion and outlook. Sorry if I seem douchey.

Well, I hoped limiting him to the timely use of only one would help with that. It's not a perfect system. I'm trying to implement flaws in hopes of balance.
I can see your point there, but I don't have an original story in mind for him, and I didn't intend to portray him as some "alpha meta" who knows what he's doing. Experience counts for a lot, and he won't have a lot of it, obviously.
To my knowledge, telepathy and telekinesis are different from psychokinesis. When I think psychokinesis, I imagine Silver the Hedgehog levitating, teleporting, making psychic knives, shit like that. Clive can't access minds. He also can't control elements. As for Olli, I've since updated the powerset, so there's (IMO) much less similarity.
This I've changed as well. He can no longer store emotional energies due to it being a no-limits fallacy implying he can use these energies without feeling them, which is not the case. The feeling has to be present in equal or greater measure than his own.
You've got it right, man. That's definitely what I had in mind. I've come up with a new term for it; aura rending. It can be addressed as either one though. I looked initially to Lucario for some inspiration.
Thanks, man. 😄 It actually didn't take too long. As a writer, that's actually a huge compliment.
Since you put it that way, Raven's powerset seemed the same way, but somehow she was still able to function in the story without being horrendously broken. I guess that counts on how the character is showcased. If it helps, think of him as "the guy who's good at a lot of things, but not THE BEST at anything". Also, his power brand doesn't always come at moments of his choosing. I remember Vex similarly had alternating abilities.
It's all good. I need to know these things. Bear with me. I'm trying to keep a measured experience.
It's all good, man. Here's an updated profile. I hope this helps. Excuse the back story. I left it ambiguous so it could possibly be built upon in greater depth in the future.

He is able to sense the emotional energies that surround him, and he constantly takes in this energy. This even allows him to feel exactly what those around him are feeling. This is usually stronger with those he’s close to or feels connected to somehow. In which case, he is even able to read their souls and tell what their heart holds. The form of energy he can use at the time is determined by the strongest present feeling. If there is a resident emotional energy surpassing his, his own energy will be overridden, and he will effectively assume that emotional state. If his energy is dominant, it will remain. Though he has trained himself to control and tap into each of these individual energies at will to some extent, but he is still limited to the use of one.
Weaknesses : An excess of negative energy can cause him to lose self-control to the point of reckless abandon. (He has trained to limit this.) Energy tapping requires a level of residual emotional energy that equates his own, and he then has to trade his current aura for the most present one. He has never personally felt love, so he is (currently) unable to access it on his own. He cannot harness fear due to the purity of his heart, so he is instead drained by it, and will eventually become weak to the point of illness or even death.
Skills/abilities : Exceptionally skilled martial artist, free runner, and musician (guitar and vocals, self-taught in all mentioned fields).
Personality : Kind, caring, compassionate, warm-hearted, noble; these are a few words that can be used to describe Clive. He is very open to others, and others seem to open up to him the same, if not more. However, he is not trusting to the point of gullibility, as he is able to tell what lies within the hearts of others. He has never truly remained close to anyone, but if he cared for them, he would do his part to help them, fight for them, and protect them all the same. He is a collective, friendly soul, but he is not shy about prejudicially engaging a threat. The only thing that seems to ever break his enthusiasm is the sadness and anger he would feel should he believe himself to have failed or let down a friend or loved one. He makes his greatest efforts to ensure that it never comes to that.
Bio : Soon after Clive’s gift was made apparent at a young age, he was sent away by his family (who he barely remembers) out of concern for his safety. Clive was beyond humanity, and would not readily be welcomed into society given that people did not understand those naturally more powerful than them. This misunderstanding usually translated to fear, which eventually turned to hatred. At the time, he was scared, confused, and hurt deeply by this dramatic change. Now, having reached an age of understanding, he was easily able to except this reality, and has long since moved on.
He grew up in a private, specialized household in Japan specifically suited to accommodate meta-human youth. Here, he was raised among others like himself, and he gained a greater understanding and control of his power. He took to enjoying his life among others like himself, and took great value to friendship as a result. What he never knew was that there were those who would use their gifts for wrongdoing. He found out the hard way when a villainous faction raided the home for reasons that eluded him entirely. He was thankful to know that most of them survived, but he was saddened for the rest.
He felt that he was left with but a single option: leave. So, he left everything behind him in the hopes of finding new life elsewhere in the world. One regretful thought that crossed his mind was his inability to act; he had to change that. He had heard only stories of those with power who performed great deeds of heroism, but had never personally witnessed them. He set out to become like these people, seeking to find his own strength to do as they did. A year later, he now had become a product of these tales, albeit a small one. Feeling the need to make the most of his power and put it toward a meaningful cause, he still wanders the world in search of where he is best able to do so.
