Damn, Hyperion is the strongest!
Here are the actual feats:

Here Hickman confirms that the planets Hype was holding apart were physical representations of 2 entire universes:

...And as the last scan says, further confirmation that planets=universes(where this incursion stuff is concerned, at least) can be found in New Avengers #3. 🙂

Hyperion stomps.

Nice. I smell inconsistency, though.

As of now, nothing is inconsistent. Clearly, though, it isn't always going to take universal++ forces to harm Hyperion in the future.

Hyperion held back 2 universes from colliding with one another... And then survived the destruction of said universes.

That feat alone makes Superman benching earth look laughably feeble in comparison.

Final Crisis Superman was still way more impressive.

But I guess he doesn't count 🙁

wow, scary feat

hyperion 7/10

I meant in the future, yes. Hulk did some damage as well.

Waid also thinks Hulk is the strongest character there is. Don't see that as a low ft for Hyperion.

I didn't say it was a low feat, but I do think Superman can do the same.

Not going to down your opinion.

Waid can say whatever he wants. Barring special revelations as of right now Hyperion is the clear top dog in Marvel in terms of strength.

I agree.

No, that would be Thor.

Spoiler:
Ok, I guess not.

What are the New H's origins? Isn't he supposed to be an Eternal of some sort? If so, his recent feats are way out of character. The most powerful Eternals, historically, have been Thanos and Ultimus, if I am remembering correctly. And, Thanos is artificially enhanced. Ultimus was a potential "Thor-beater" from way back. A Kree Eternal I think.

Anyway, I would imagine that we are looking at the new ultimate bad guy for Marvel in the future. Rarely is a character built up so high, without turning them into an enemy to be toppled.

Just mho.

Didn't Galactus said that destroying the Earth is bad.I guess big G was actually correct about that statement now that 2 Earths colliding equals 2 Universes colliding.Makes me wonder if Earth was the 1st Planet in MU to came out of nothingness?

It sounds to me like it just makes the writing easier to do. Less to factor in.

Faster for sure.

How is he stronger though?

DCnU Superman is a bit of glass jaw at the moment as well.

Speed 👆

Strength, the bench pressing feat wasn't as vague as that of Hyperion, besides, Superman would have done the same like he always does, in such a situation. The bench pressing wasn't his limit, is was just a drop of sweat. In FC Superman lifted infinity and DCnU Superman is what FC Superman became after all. Oh well.
In a direct comic confrontation, Superman would be stronger then Hyperion, Gladiator or any other clone. Thy only one matching him would be Hulk at his best me thinks.

👆 Durability and damage soak, yeah both bleed if the story requires it. I would say they are quite even at the moment, both are still >>>>>>>>>>> Thor. Poor guy.
