There were many flaws including the villain Ares. It isn't doesn't have a high rewatchability factor to it. The action was ok but the emotion of the film I enjoyed in my single viewing.

I liked Shannon as Zod, Faora was great, the Smallville battle was amazing.

Superman taking out the world engine was the highlight of the film to me.

This could be a good and bad thing.

They gave Snyder far too much control of the DCEU. Which turned out to be a disaster.

And it seems Zack Snyder's initial running time of 2 hours 45 minutes has been cut to 2 hours by Joss Whedon.

Red flags? I think so.
