I think they should just keep going and pull it back. Establish the characters and focus on that. Leave the team up stuff for years down the road.

True, actually. Avengers were so neat because you got to know and like each of the characters (well, nearly each) beforehand. Every character got his own neat arc, you've watched these movies for years getting a bunch of likable characters. I mean, there have definitely been people that weren't really content with one or two of them (perosnally didn't really like Captain America 1), but there were tons of people that really liked at least half of them and their stories.

And then you got Avengers with all these guys you got to know before at once what made Avengers goddamn amazing.

In case of DC... too few established characters.

Many of the execs of WB will be gone when the merger happens.

Even if Disney bought D.C. Would there be a million bullshit proprietary rights and IP issues that prevent them from using D.C. characters in the MCU
