Well this was just terrible.
Stylistically all over the place. No chemistry between the characters. It suffers from exactly the same problems as Alien Covenant. It's like they fail miserably then try and fix it by addressing the problems of a previous film and forget to actually make the current film any good.
Its clear that they reacted to people saying that BvS was too long so they set a time for how long this would be and do **** if they had to chop out stuff that actually made you invested in the plot. Failing to realise that BvS wasn't too long because it had a long running time. It was too long because it was filled with incoherent and irrelevant bullshit. This, on the other hand, seems to have been cut to within an inch of its life.
But that's only half the problem. The disjoint between different locations is massively jarring and totally takes you out of the movie. Gotham one minute, thermiscira the next, Iceland or wherever the **** then to some Chernobyl looking shithole that's normal one minute and red the next and filled with space plants the next.
Steppenwolf was even worse than Ares. At least Ares was disguised as a human and was fermenting war and had some connection even if it was thrown away with terrible CGI at the end of WW. SW is dire from the get go. Made even worse by repetitive fight sequences that seem to have zero consequences cos even the humans are barely hurt by him.
It does still have seeds of excellence in it. Gotham looked awesome in the Batman intro. Much more like the 80s Batman movies and the Arkham games. I liked The Flash and WW was....well.
But overall it was just garbage. More garbage.
They seriously need to stop making movies by committee and focus groups and hand it to a writer and director that actually give a shit.

Someone actually posed the question on John Campea about DC fans citing the first four DC films made more than the first marvel to which he destroyed.
That’s always been a stupid argument.
But carrying it on now after Justice League’s failure is just outright retarded.
well this could be a good thing or be worse...

Seems like Geoff Johns continues to escape blame, despite the article saying both he and Jon Berg were intimately involved in the production. Maybe he doesn't have any golden touch when it comes to the movies.

They can away and throw a shite at themselves.
When they done this with BvS I knew it was gonna be a regular thing if their movies flopped. Anything to try and claw some money back. Tell people "oh this new cut makes the movie much better".
**** off. 😂

Torrent the shit but even that is a waste of time. The implosion of the DCEU is among the biggest film disasters ever.
This is all happening when the Disney/Marvel are about to get stronger than ever.
LMAO.
You still keep saying that. Its still too early to say. Now, if the future films bomb, then you can talk.
WB will probably cross 2 b this year, for the first time. That's pretty spectacular for them.

He didn't assume his role until a month after JL started filming. He had no pre-production involvement like he had for Wonder Woman (from what I've read).
