TBF, lack of interest didn't ultimately ruin BvS, it being a crappy film ruined it.

But agreed, some of the choices they made in revealing characters and plot points at early on was poor marketing.

I agree.

Suicide Squad is weeks away and we don't even know who the villain is yet so maybe WB learned from that BvS marketing shit.

Bad move? JL is lighting social media up now. The GA is eating this up.

BvS had more going for it than this does, imo.

Not sure what I would say as to which has more going for than the other, but looking more colorful and no Eisenberg in sight (yet) is certainly a plus for JL compared to BvS upon first impression, IMO. But even then, the JL trailer didn't hold a candle to WW's.

I like the fact that they seem to be moving away from the constant theme of everyone being miserable bastards.

Yeah, but on the other hand the miserable bastards outlook does make sense for heroes to have when they share a universe with Batman.

My boy Ezra gonna be the MVP of JL movie.

The more I see of Will Smith, the less I like SS, but this trailer got me hyped.

Was terrible move to give it this early IMO.

Social media lighting up would be great if this movie was coming THIS November. But good luck to WB to try and keep hype going for the next 16months without people getting bored of seeing it marketed and without giving away tons of the movie in the process.

They shouldn't have released the trailer for this so close to the post-theatric run of BvS. A lot of people still have the bad taste from that in their mouths, imo.

WB should hold off on the next trailer until WW comes out.

That one is out.

I'd argue that the JL has more bad points in the trailer than the early BvS stuff did. A crap Aquaman, a weird Flash, the Nvidia GTX Cyborg, and so on.

Flash and Cyborg weren't as bad as I thought honestly (was expecting worse), but fair points still, especially on Aquaman.

Since this was just brought to my attention... Trailer for Justice League Action, the new JL animated series.

YouTube video

At least there's that to salvage things from even if the movie is shit.

Thank GOD for DC Animation. Finally gonna get some GOOD DC Stuff again...albeit on the little screen.

It's just a taste. Not going to ruin the movie or it's BO performance.

I didn't mind Flash's costume, but the scene with him and Bruce... Not Barry to me. Or even Wally.

I honestly dunno what to think about that animation.

Yeah.. Even as flawed as the CWverse is, I get more Barry out of Grant Gustin than I do with like this guy.

As far as the style, I kinda see the new show as a mix between the silliness of Brave & the Bold and the seriousness of JL/Unlimited.

Forgot to think to comment on this earlier, but Superman's gonna get the short end of the stick in this JL movie, isn't he? Basically it seems like, make him/his death a stepping stone for all these others to be brought in, make Batman the one to recruit 'em all as opposed to Superman forming the League in any way (which'll take up like how much of the film?), and if Superman's in this at all (whether there's a JL part 2 or not), his "surprise, I'm not really dead" return may very well be just some kind of plot device for the middle or climax of the film.

Between the possibility of that and then already having more edgy emo dummyevil Superman in Injustice 2, the man of steel's really getting shit on lately...

Shitting on Superman is the smartest thing DC has done. It makes me have hope for the company.

It's a repeat of BvS.

Thor Ragnorak is out the same month. Marvel haven't released a trailer to the public for that.

Heck they haven't even released one for GOTG2 which come next May.
