Hmm... I need to learn more about 40k to talk about this sort of thing.

Would armorless space marines be mountain busting, space ship busting, Powering the entire US for a year x5 or more power output, absolute zero temperature resisting durable?

No. You'd need a primarch for that. To be fair, if we're thinking of the same scan, that wasn't really a mountain buster. 😛 certainly impressive, though. mmm

Thing is, I think the primarchs would wreck Samus. Marines are described as being able to think in microseconds(possible hyperbole here), deflect bolter rounds and move faster than their human allies can perceive, but Primarchs can move and fight so fast entire groups of marines can't tell what's going on.

They've also survived things that bust cities, even as infants/children they were ridiculously hardcore, fighting giant monsters, crash landing in volcanoes from space and crawling out, smashing through the crust of planets made primarily of adamantium, ect.

Will investigate, something like this could be an actual fair fight for Samus. It is already known she moves faster than sound but it's not said how fast. Especially illustrated when space pirates fired beams at a child at point blank range and she traveled several hundred meters and blocked the beams with her body before they actually hit the child. I don't imagine that someone who could move that fast wouldn't be able to think that fast. Also illustrated by the quick dodge mechanic of Other M.

Planet busting weapons could take her out though. As shown in Metroid Fusion where she kills the SA-X copies, With a planet killing explosion.

However after Fusion her durability has doubled, after restoring her power suit to full functionality and then absorbing the X copy. Diffusion Beam and Diffusion missile mean massive explosions that also freeze everything around them to absolute zero. Then there is the Omega Cannon, Annihilator Beam (anti-matter), Battlehammer(nuclear weapon based), Charge combos that can produce mini black holes or mini stars... Might be a decent match.

Edit: Shinespark

What's the absolute zero statement from, anyway?

Samus is pretty hardcore, man, but I wouldn't support her against a Primarch. Trust me, you'd be better off with a chapter master or captain.

Russ, the Primarch of MG's favourite legion beat up a titan. Deathstrike missiles, which can destabilize the crust of a planet or something, are considered ineffective against titans. The Lion brawled with Russ for days on end at a stand still and beat Konrad Curze in armed combat. Konrad Curze, in turn, the Primarch who as an infant crashed through the crust of a planet made primarily of adamantium unharmed, nearly strangled The Lion, and tore open Rogal Dorn, another Primarch, with his barehands, as well as ripping out the spines of marines in terminator armour, which can survive the tread of war titans. Fulgrim choked out an avatar of a god made of molten lava. (MG so mad) Sanguinius broke the back of an extremely powerful Bloodthirster (The most powerful servant of Khorne at the time save, IIRC, Doombreed.) Magnus the Red smashed his fist through Russ, the first Primarch I mentioned's armour and into his chest destroying one of his hearts, while simultaneously devastating the surface of the entire planet of Prospero with his psychic powers.

Etc, etc.

Basically:

The psychic feats sound not too far off from what Gorea accomplished. Also after doing some research, it turns out that the Annihilator beam could probably destroy anything made from matter. Anti-Matter+Matter = nonexistence, and so Samus could shoot the enemy and they disintegrate and trigger billions of nuclear explosions that used to be the atoms that made up their body. Wud be laff.

The problem here is the annihilator beam fires a matter/antimatter shot which self annihilates to cause destruction, it doesn't just shoot antimatter, probably because a weapon like that would be impossible to use safely. How much of either is actually used isn't laid out explicitly, but it's not so much that firing it is a hazard to Samus herself. The actual destruction caused by the annihilator beam probably comes from the energy created from the process of the matter/antimatter pairing annihilating itself. (E = mc^2 applies)

The Primarchs physically outstat her by a wide margin and have survived firepower beyond her destructive feats. mmm So, yeah. The Primarchs are also apparently partially made from the Warp. (Space Hell)

To put this in perspective, if she fires an atom of anti hydrogen and an atom of hydrogen together in a pair the yield is

3.007192219978245404338204086192e-10

Or 0.0000000003007192219978245404338204086192 j per pair.

Now, how large the pairs actually are is impossible to know, so her weapon could be literally anywhere over the number above. (But also below a reasonable threshhold.) But it's a good thing she doesn't shoot half kilogram blobs of it. Here's why! (I'm having fun and you can't stop me.)

One half kilo of antimatter plus a half kilo of actual matter = 1 kilo of mass in total being converted into energy which is...

This is the best thing I've seen all day. If I were as dedicated as Scenario, I'd actually investigate further so that I could use the information+math to make claims on the Annihilator Beam that would be absolutely ridiculous and also backed by lore+math.

Which would be awesome, but the lore so far has nothing on it's relative power, really. mmm It could be a single target bop, or it could be a room emptying mininuke. It's unknowable. But yeah. I had fun.
