forge knew about that weakness because of his power. I half-remember some shit about that nimrod having been rebuilt with lower quality parts form the present and that being the trick to defeat him. he self-repaired using leftover forge robots or something? did that happen? at all?
lasso is supposed to not work on robots as anything other than a strong rope right?

The body was made by Forge under duress, and Forge installed a secret override to gain control over it. However when the New X-men attacked it, it overroad the override and took control again.
They managed to defeat it by triggering it's time unit and sending it into the past, which turned out to mean it was *the* original Nimrod from the original story.

Neither hulk nor thor used high frequency sonics to affect juggernaut though. Although Thor nearly koed him with punches just fine. Captain universe also put Juggy's ass into coma and beat him black and blue physically. Doesn't mean he was above thor and hulk. Juggernaut's durability is vastly overrated. In the same comic Rogue with colossus' strength took nimrod apart.

no.... just that i see a lot of nimrod stuff on here and in reality the robot really hasn't done much. its certainly never faced an opponent with the combo speed/strength/magic that diana has. its shell has been cracked a couple times by force far less than diana could bring to bear, forgetting her sword or tiara. nimrod is sorta cool, i've just never been overly impressed by the robot's feats.

They teleported one of his arms away; Nightcrawler wouldnt have been able to do this himself, but the Rogue/Colossus/Nightcrawler (and somebody else) hybrid was able to pull it off...
Nimrod BFR'ed himself simply to get his arm back...not because of system shock.
