Possible Green Arrow actor

I was watching the trailer for Jack, the giant slayer and I couldn't help but notice that Ewan Mcgregor (Obi wan Kinobi) might make an excellent Green Arrow in a movie. I'm a fan of the character and couldn't help but notice similarities such as the bit of charismatic attitude.

Thoughts? Agree or disagree?

He's going to be too old by the time there is a Green Arrow movie, if ever. The younger version we are getting in the New 52 era also doesn't sport such dramatic facial hair as well.

The current Arrow actor on TV or Justin Hartley from the Smallville days are likely more qualified.

I rather enjoy the dramatic facial hair it was part of his charm.

I doubt they'll use actors who have already portrayed the character in different continuity's. People would naturally assume the continuity was the same if they did that.

But then hey it's DC- Nothing wrong with a continuity mess Lol

Since to this point Oliver Queen has only been portrayed by Canadian actors, let's keep it going - I nominate Ryan Gosling.

(he'll get convinced to do a superhero movie one day.)
