You don't want me to ask you of the proof because that's where Wikipedia or any other accessible source can't help you. And more importantly: that's where the actual reasoning comes in.

And it's not like I asked you to prove anything. I already did it. I just wanted an explanation of what methods I used and why, which you failed to provide.

Let's be honest. You searched Wikipedia for traces that could make you look smart. You found out what E and P stood for—which isn't hard considering they're two of the most commonly used functions in all of probability theory—you called it a day still failed to comprehend the initial expression. And you didn't even bother with the proof.

I once ripped a 5 euro bill in half, that's how much money I have.

10,000 over 3 months is working 40 hours a week at about $20.00 an hour. This would be before taxes of course.

Though that seems like a fairly high wage for a summer porter job.

But I worked Cash Jobs. I busted my ass and was so sharp that the Drivers paid me direct cash for my work off the clock. It's kinda a Code of Respect amongst movers who've earned Cash Job requests through being exceptional and getting requested by the drivers for being trusted to do things their way. 😎

We don't have a minimum wage in Sweden, but there's a collective agreement between employers and the labor union that states that you're not allowed to pay less than 100 SEK an hour to any worker of or above the age of eighteen, with more specific numbers depending on the profession.

Not counting overtime or unsocial hour bonus, 100 SEK an hour, eight hours a week, for 25 days is 20,000 SEK—or 3 127.74 USD—a month. And if you're willing to work shifts you can easily make twice as much without an education.

I know that the U.S. has poorer working conditions but I have a hard time imagining that you couldn't make 10,000 USD over the summer.

You just have to be ridiculously sharp and respectful and an ass-kisser and in good shape to do it as a mover. Working well over 40 hours a week.

That said, 20,000 SEK a month definitely isn't much. You can make that unemployed off of being part of the unemployment benefit society, assuming you've worked for at least six months in your life.

Now if you want to make money as a manual laborer the minimum wage in Norway for a full-time job is 32,000 NOK a month (or 5,610 USD). Then again a regular sized Pizza in Norway goes for 250 NOK, so you better hold on tight to the money you're making.
