He loses because an elite team of giant transforming robots with better firepower and more experience were losing to Unicron's internal defenses.
I know some people think I'm gimping the exosuit but in reality I'm looking at what it is.
It's a suit designed to not make humans so squishy in harsher environments. The reason I say that the cassette formers would still take the exosuit in a fight is because at the end of the day they are straight through robots no wasted space where a human being needs to be housed. The blasters on the suit weren't shown to cause much damage. A medium sized transformer's weapon like Arecee is roughly the size of it's arm even if you don't agree with me it is still much larger than the blaster's on the suit.
Even using two of those blasters Daniel only was able to hit the side of the vat with one of the shots, and even then if you actually look at the scale it was roughly a human sized spot he hit.
So I'm not gimping the suit I'm just realistically pointing out that it won't make McClane better suited for the situation he is in more so than the people who were already in it in the movie.
The suit doesn't possess high intensity fire even if it could knock out one or two pinchers there are hundreds more swarming him.
McClane is going to lsoe cause he doesn't have access to the Matrix the only known weapon used that was able to stop Unicron, and there are no other known weaknesses that McClane could use to take him down.
He's essentially a one person bacteria located inside of Unicron. He isn't winning. Not even getting one win.

sprinter was pinned for a half a second. he could have easily been freed by a pistol shot to the pincher arm.

At it's best the exosuit made Daniel slightly over half the size of Arcee. Arcee being the next level up from bumblebee and the like. A cassette former would probably come up to at least Daniels shoulders and doesn't have to worry about being hollowed out to allow a normal human being in it.
And go ahead look at the spot Daniel shot and how the vat compares to when Spike is standing on it, compared to the bars holding the lid up. The area Daniel hit is actually roughly human sized, didn't cause a lot of damage to the vat, and wasn't the intense precision shot you're making it out to be.
I think it's pretty obvious an exo suit does not turn a human into a transformer.
you fail because rather than just state the painfully obvious, you have enthusiastically tried over and over to negate on-screen-proven destruction capability of the exosuits blasters. your conclusions lack any evidence and are solely based on your own wishes. whether these wishes exist via needing to win this thread or just your overall interpretations from first viewing years ago is inconsequential. either way you are combating evidence with counter-intuitive speculation. (that the autobots and spike would build human-transformer battle armor with not even the firepower to scratch an itch on rumble's ass, and that the metal rod on the smelting vat was probably made of paper mache, right bro?)

just cliked through to the autobots being slaughtered and it dawned on me:
megatron transforms to pistol and does seemingly the same amount of damage as the other deceptions' pistols, yet when he's in robot form he disintegrates ironhide with one blast. so why bother transforming? dont know why im asking. must mean i conceded again.
