OP should've added a limit in power.

Yeah, it's just my opinion. There seem to be a group of characters that have shown levels of power near skyfather, trans or even abstract, yet seem to work in more grounded, simple, physical ways to channel that power.

Because he kept Champion from destroying earth where as people like Sasquatch, Colossus, Hulk, and others failed. Thing use to be one of the strongest marvel characters of all time. Also he has been forever.

Well even still Hulk blew his chance to save the earth by beating or stalemating Champion and he let his anger get the better of him. Thing is one of Marvel's first bricks.
