What is the best season or series finale you have ever seen?

Two of the best things i love about any good show is the first episode. That's what usually pulls me in wanting to find out more and a series finale. From the top of my head some of the best season finale's that i have seen are Heroes season 1 episode 23, "How to stop an exploding man." I remember telling people that i never seen anything like that on television before. The next of course for all you avid t.v. viewers is supernatural of course with season 5 episode 22, "Swan song." You can't have a better finale then that. If my life was a show and i was gonna have some life changing, death, etc, i would want chuck to narrate.

Season 5 finale of Dexter and season 2 finale of Game of Thrones. If episode 11 of season 1 was the finale for that show, then I would have picked that.

Good finale's are hard to think of. Premier episodes are easier. Cuz first episode of Walking Dead was nigh perfect.

True Lucien. A Premiere episode done right gets me hooked. Like Heroes, Dexter, and Supernaturals' was alright but it got better as it got along.

Breaking Bad Season 5.1

Breaking Bad season 4. Walt vs Gus. The episode itself was great but the last 10-15 min. were just epic!

Breaking bad and Dexter definitely up there. Lost although it kept me hooked the cliff hanger endings for every episode/season did kinda wear thin. Although lost was still great.

Season two of Buffy.

Final episode of Blake's 7 the Federation wipes them out leaving a question mark, was Avon killed? We hear guns going off on a blank screen right at the end.

Last ever episodes of 'The Wire' and 'The Shield'.

Season 3 of Lost for sure.

The last 2 episodes of The Shield were astonishing tv.

House's Head/Wilson's Heart in House MD were also amazing.

The endings of both s2 and s3 of Boardwalk Empire were brilliant.

The last four episodes of season 4 are some of the most intense episodes of TV I have ever seen.

Season 3's final episode was also great. But yeah, Season 4 has to take the cake.

Wouldn't say its my favourite, but Doctor Who series 1 finale Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways was really great

The Wire. Hands down best series finale ever.

Hands Down it is the Last Episode of Lost. Made me cry like a baby.

Best series finale is Breaking Bad.

Other top season finales: Breaking Bad Season 4 and Sons of Anarchy Season 3.
