It's more than a decade since I read that arc so i'll defer to your knowledge on it.

It was not much of a battle Thor broke genis-vell sheild with a mjolnir toss and knock him on his arse then genis- blasted Thor before mjolnir returned and knocked him on his arse the end

Yeah, Genis almost killed King Thor

👆

Insane Genis destroys KT.

In that scuffle they had Genis wasn't trying to hurt Thor,
while Thor really was trying to hurt Genis.
Genis also owned all of Asgard easily, minus Odin/Thor.

That aside, Thor realized Genis was beyond him.
In fact, Thor was in awe of Genis.

Also, those Two giants in the story that combined owned Odin ...
... Genis killed one with a single blast.

They had a short fight. Thor tossed his hammer at him and sent him flying, then genis retaliates with a blast and knocks KT down. It didn't prove much in the end.

KT at his peak was probably mid skyfather. Where would you place Genis???

I honestly don't remember their fight. What issue was it in?

Captain Marvel Vol. 4 #7

Just shows how long it's been since I read that book.

Man this version of the story is almost as bad as Quan's version of the Odin Thanos fight

Note even close to what happened

My version of the fight is consistent with the comic and the bio. You just pretend Odin's dialogue doesn't count nor the fight.

I don't see what's the point of insulting Quanchi
who hasn't even posted in this thread,
but furthermore comparing his opinion on something completely unrelated
to my post in this thread is the essence of gobbledygook.

Let's stick to my post and not concern ourselves with silly attempts at
making another member the poster boy for unreasonable judgement
or one sided bias.

I'm not into that, I don't think it's funny shitting on peoples names,
but especially when besmirching pops up out of nowhere when said
poster hasn't even involved himself in the thread.

Ok, so that aside ... **********

So Your claim is that what I posted was "Not even close to what happened" ...

Well, let's see shall we ...

=====================

Here are my claims, ...

I'll see if I can back them up with On Panel evidence.

Genis just wanted to be recognized as a "god" by the Asgardians.
That's the ony reason he went to Asgard which was momentarily floating above Earth.
It was the Asgardians that attacked him first.

Genis could've killed Heimdall easily and didn't,
and he only retaliated against Thor once.

Heimdell gets owned:

"I have enough power in my little finger to obliterate you."

----------------------------------------------------

Genis owns all of Asgard with the exception of Thor, Volstagg and Odin:

Then Thor steps in and the scans posted by Damborgson.

What's not posted is the follow up to the story.

Thor was impressed by Genis's cosmic awareness.
Not exactly in awe.

Ok, I was a bit off on this part.

The Two Giants, who were the First Giants:

[img=http://s4d3.turboimagehost.com/t1/15424719_G1.jpg]

Were sent away originally by Odin and Asgard.
But the giants never tried to fight back against what was Asgard then,
because they were innocent, so the giants were driven away.

But the giants plotted revenge for Eons, and their power increased likewise:

[img=http://s4d3.turboimagehost.com/t1/15424726_G8.jpg]

----------------------------------------------------

As you can read in the scan right above ... according to cosmically aware Genis,
the two giants are far more powerful than back in the day.

Before Genis made Thor aware of the truth behind the two giants,
a single giant had a short scuffle with Thor and the Asgardians, and fared well:

[img=http://s4d2.turboimagehost.com/t1/15424881_G13.jpg]

[img=http://s4d2.turboimagehost.com/t1/15424885_G14.jpg]

[img=http://s4d2.turboimagehost.com/t1/15424889_G15.jpg]

[img=http://s4d2.turboimagehost.com/t1/15424891_G16.jpg]

----------------------------------------------------

Genis warned Thor, via Cosmic awarness:

That if Thor and Asgard battled Strum & Drang (two giants) this would happen:

[img=http://s4d3.turboimagehost.com/t1/15424727_G9.jpg]

[img=http://s4d2.turboimagehost.com/t1/15424894_G17.jpg]

[img=http://s4d3.turboimagehost.com/t1/15424728_G10.jpg]

----------------------------------------------------

So as we can see, everyone dies! ... Asgard - Earth - and apparently all combatants involved.

King Thor acknowledges this as the truth:

[img=http://s4d3.turboimagehost.com/t1/15424729_G11.jpg]

----------------------------------------------------

Cool. So we know the Two giants (Strum & Drang) vs King Thor/Asgard = all destroyed.

Watch what Genis can do to one of them:

[img=http://s4d3.turboimagehost.com/t1/15424730_G12.jpg]

For those who don't click scans ... that's a one shot kill.

@@@@@@----@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@---#

How's this relevant to peak King Thor?

How are the featless giants who appeared for the first time ever in a really, really brief stint of any relevance to Thor a few hundred years later?

A poorly drawn and even worse written issue in the Mar-vell comics do not suddenly retcon Odin and Thor's history. What a joke.

Also, lmfao at people implying that Genis beating Asgard somehow means anything in a fight against Thor. Any ol' Herald should be able to blaze his way through most of Asgard with little resistance when you're going off the assumption that the only other people there worthy of note are the Warrior Three.

Genis

I dont even know why to put this version of superman or hulk vs this two guys.

1. King Thor's power level was much higher then in this arc you use to show him and you know that

2. All of Asgard hardly the lesser asgardians has been cannon fodder for years and he didn't fight any of the big guns Odin. Thor ,destroyer loki' hela and etc. and you know this too but fail to point it out

3. Thor was in awe of Genis omniscience not his power

4. The didn't owned Odin at all from what i can remember Odin made peace with them then the asgardians kicked them out If it happened differently you some how left out that scan

Yes Quanicakes, unlike you. I am not a blind fanboy.

I believe this two are more powerful

One is KT and the other IIRC Genis has two cosmic entities.

I bet you think Thanos is more powerful than them.

That's off topic so I won't go into it. I agree that all three of these guys outclass Superman here.

King Thor wins.
