Not sure what college I want to go to.

I'm 20 years old, and I STILL don't know what college I want to go to when I transfer from my online courses at community college. To make things worse, I'm limited in where I can go, because my mom won't let me go to college in a big city, even when I finally learn to drive. I feel like my future's being decided for me. What do I do?

Well, with this excessive amount of information I guess the answer would be...decide what college you want to go to within the confines of your mom's pre-selections?

Alternatively go against your mom's wishes and deal with the consequences.

Pick the one with the women prowling around campus for their Knight in Shining Armor.

Check the rankings. Always a good place to start.

College is a waste of money now. If you have money, buy a house. You'll have a place to live.

On average college actually isn't a waste of money, it is an alright investment.

It can be a waste of money of course on an individual basis.

Choose the university you want and decide your own future or just to be chosen and be decided.

You're 20, and your mom is dictating where you can go? And you can't drive yet?

I'm going to be blunt, grow a pair and go where you think you'd do best.

Well, I have a brain injury, and my mom's waiting until my brain develops a little more before letting me go off to college and live on my own.

Also, I'm going to try to get my permit this summer, and I'm hoping to get my license by late 2013/beginning of 2014.
