also if you go by the movie, goku fights a being with a similar(smaller version) role to the LT. There is no such being at thor's level that can come even remotely close to doing such a task.

Goku is not fast enough, nor does he have the power output, to compete with Thor. Even Goku's most destructive feats do not compare to fighting a trans level being inside of a sun, barring there being a greater showing in BOG I haven't seen.

Alright *sits comfortably* tell me how powerful an attack must be to tear into a dimension, and explain how the scream can do what their attacks could not assuming it can cause damage.
Show me someone in DB preforming a strength feat a fraction of what Thor has done. Show me a DB character with speed close to these FTL feats of Thor.

Frieza could withstand the destruction of a planet will almost dead. He is absolutely nothing to current goku. Thor would have his hands full with Frieza never mind goku.

Not forgetting that they can be damaged from attacks far below planetary. Gohan and Krillin almost being killed from a pointed tree trunk being thrown at them comes to mind.
And show me a speed feat.
