Fight takes place in Himalayan mountains. Vegeta starts in base form but can go up to SS2. Can Vulcan's energy manipulation powers affect Vegeta's ki?

Vulcan can probably manipulate Vegeta's energy, but he's certainly not fast enough or durable enough to take a beating from him.

Vulcan gets his head blitz off if Vegeta starts of melee (although more likely he starts off with a simple small ki blast as he normally do).

So long as he doesn't start charging up for powerup he should be fine.

I thought physical damage was kinetic and therefore could be absorbed by Vulcan?
Didn't read enough of Vulcan's saga to make a decent judgment though.
I guess the sheer force of Vegeta's blows would snap him good.

After all he isn't Sebastion Shaw.

It's not like Vulcan is a glass cannon, iirc he toke a point blank scream from Black Bolt and was knocked out.

Vulcan wins a majority imo.

He took a point blank scream from Black Bolt and was nearly melted into a puddle of goo. And when the T-Bomb went off, he get killed.

And Gladiator is the reason he has a false eye, because he punched it out, nearly killing Vulcan and ko'ing him at the same time.

Vegeta wins with a melee speed blitz.

Gladiator could physically overpower Vegeta with one hand and manhandle him.

If Vulcan took a punch from Gladiator, Vegeta isn't crushing him in melee.

He took one punch and almost died in the process. And Gladiator wasn't going all out. He just wanted to stop Vulcan. What I'm saying is Vulcan isn't that great up close, and Colossus was hurting him as well, but not to the point of Gladiator.

Vegeta however is far faster in a fight than Gladiator, and his combos will add up and take Vulcan down.

Colossus punches harder and is stronger than Vegeta so I'm not sure what your point is.

My point is that Vegeta punches hard enough to hurt Vulcan going by what damage he took in his appearances. And he's fast enough to dodge pretty much anything throws at him, and what he can't dodge, he can deflect or blast away with his own energy. And Vulcan's specialty is energy manipulation. When it goes to melee, he goes down as he's much slower and nowhere near as skilled.

But I don't have much more to say on the topic.

His flesh was taken off, but Vulcan came back a page later and attacked Black Bolt. It's still based on what Black Bolts voice have done, a feat in itself that Vulcan wasn't transformed into subatomic particles. Ofcause he died when the T-bomb went off, that bomb ripped a whole in the fabric of the universe...

Vulcan got knocked out by Gladiator after two punches,, a Gladiator that had one of the best showings for God knows how many years, and that was after that Vulcan had steamrolled the Imperial Guard. And Gladiator was nowhere near in killing him.

And hell that wasn't even Vulcan at full power.

^ill add I don't know black bolts upper limit and heard a whisper can wipe out mountains and has planet busting power/potential so if my measurement of his scream is wrong someone with more knowledge please correct me.

Seems to me he only got punched once. The first one was clearly an eyegouge. The second was a haymaker but as it is implied he hesitated to kill him being corsairs son.
