Thor has shown that he can beat Surfer before. Speed or no speed, I don't see that changing.

u couldnt be more wrong but being an over the top thor fan id expect that 🙂 sentry is leagues above surfer and thor 😆

um, yeah. 🙄 As a matter of fact, Sentry can beat Thor, Superman AND Surfer at the same time.

There is no logical reason why an Elder of the Universe, with his kind of power and BILLIONS of years of combat experience, would not be the premier warrior of the universe. That has never made sense. Even with the existence of all the powerful beings that exist in the 616, a being like this would have had billions of years to come up with defenses and offensive maneuvers to work against any opponent.

Or, he should. 🙂 I mean, this guy should have seen everything there is to see out there.

He wasn't shown to beat Surfer when Surfer was using his top speed. Surfer fought like an idiot everytime they fought. Thor throws a hammer and misses Surfer. Thor is floating still like a sitting duck. Surfer doesn't capitalize and misses with blasts and also waits for Thor to get his hammer back.
In another instance, Surfer doesn't attack but let's Thor do all the attacking.
In another instance, Surfer again tries to talk and reason with Thor while Thor is doing all the attacking. When Surfer actually attacks Thor well it either does great damage (a blast) or nearly koes Thor (board from behind trick).
