It was the same in the comic. Batman didn't want to fight him, but when he had to he put Jason down.

IIRC he did the same thing when he caught up to him in the movie.

Great movie too.

In the movie, Jason has a lot of opportunity to off BATS, he just want's him to notice who he was and ask BATS why the JOKER still lives.

Near the end, he was an emotional mess. 🙂

Tim is allegedly the smartest of Bruce's "sons".

If Dick was the heir to Bruce/Batman being a hero and leader, then Tim was the one who would succeed him as a detective.

Judging from the movie, TODD showed incredible fighting ability that impress even BATS.

HECK, he dash trough GUN wielding mooks without even flinching. 🙂
