Superman vs Pinhead (Hellrasier)

Started by Aakla2 pages

It all depends on Pinhead. From a comic stand point he is a lesser to mid demon that Superman is levels and levels above. But from the movie stand point is a being that is beyond mortality and would rip Superman to pieces with kryptonite hooks and chains for eternity.

Its kind of like "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound" 1) if sound is the vibrations the tree makes when it falls, then yes. 2) if sound is what happens when said vibrations come in contact with your ear drum, then no.

same with this. I this a superman that is a mortal and can be effected by demons, or is he the superman that only the strongest demons can stand against. Does Pinhead have absolute power over mortals or is he just strong enough to bully humans.

going from movies to comics is hard because the power levels are different.

my opinion. From a comics point of view Pinhead would barely register as a threat to Superman. From a movie point of view Pinhead would destroy Superman.

I don't think pinhead could damage superman and vice versa. Please don't bring up the magic vulnarability of supes casue it just isn't that bad like in the pre crisis days.

As Aakla mentioned, Pinhead merely need augment his chained hooks with Kryptonite; he could literally send a hundred of them coming at him from every direction with a thought. This is assuming that Supes is the one that opened the box and that Pinhead has that kind of biographical knowledge (scenario 2)

Pinhead can be slowed down physically but not stopped that way.

Alternate reality kryptonite didn't effect superman

Trying to throw someone into the sun that can teleport probably won't work out well.

Like two other guys said though, Superman with his superior mental processes and speed will probably be able to solve the puzzle in seconds to send Pinhead back.

Well technically it would be "magical kryptonite" , would that work?

I wonder if Pinhead would exercise the effort to secure physical kryptonite and use it, which he could accomplish through mental teleportation and then telekenesis to fashion it. If Supes is the one that opened the Box, Pinhead could have it already waiting for him (opening the box basically equals automatic prep time for Pinhead. Of Course he isn't technically prepping to fight you, he's prepping to torture you) .

In the first scenario where Superman was not the one that opened the Box, I don't think Pinhead has a chance actually.

Why would pinhead need kryptonite to hurt superman? Isn't he already magical?

from a movie stand point, Pinhead is suppose to be a being that is capable of giving out the worst torture and greatest pleasure. Since he is a demon we can safely assume this is universal. Pinhead is a being that is beyond have's and want's, he isn't a demonic Punisher that saved up gear and uses only what is available to him. He is a deity of Pleasure and Pain, the Kyrptonite chains would simple come into existence, or the chains would be magic or it wouldn't matter because he opened the box and automatically becomes susceptible to Pinhead's will.

Well I didn't specify so I guess it was assumed I meant post-Crisis Superman who is less vulnerable to magic (never quite understood why he was though)..
