I honestly think Bane, Deathstroke, or Deadshot get it but since it's a Prequel we all know he Survived

Phuckin MP achievements.....ermm
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/batman-arkham-origins/achievements/

They're usually easy if you can find someone to boost them

but yeah....phuck em.

11 out of 50 is mp achievement in a game that was originally ment to be singleplayer.....I dont mind the mp but they could have made it just for fun...ermm

ugh. I hate that. Shoehorning MP in to single player annoys me. It annoyed me with Mass Effect 3, and it annoys me now with this game, that I was planning on preordering too.

I've been playing AC today and Deathstroke's moves seem like an exact copy of Robin's which is damn disapponting......their silent take down is exactly the same and even some of the fighting moves like 5-6 and the takedowns as well.......🙁

that pi$$es me off. I have all achievements on the other 2, including all DLC achievements. I wasn't happy with mutiplayer in the first place then I played the beta and it was meh at best.

That's lazy... Go figure that something like that would happen to one of my more favorite characters though. Then again, maybe it's just that they can only have so many different takedown animations and such.

Then just ****ing boost the multiplayer achievements with someone if you still don't like the mode that much after the game comes out. Problem solved. Actually glad that there are some of those over more of those challenge map based trophies/achievements, which now can be treated as more of a "just for fun" mode instead of the grindfest that it was in Arkham City. A couple of the multiplayer achievements might be a little ridiculous though, depending on what the conditions are for getting a prestige for instance.

Also, anyone know what the "I am the night" mode is?

Thats no different then grinding for challenge mode. Heck the challenge modes aren't even that hard anyways. Its not about hating the mode, though I admit I do hate MP was added. Those are 11 achievements that would have been single player based. Single player is the major selling point for the Arkham games. If anything mutiplayer should have been the "just for fun" mode.

It's not that they're hard, but that they're unnecessarily time consuming. Well, can be hard in some ways, like with Catwoman, you have to hope those spikes randomly trip a wandering guard if that's what one of the objectives are, and other shenanigans of the sort.

Just as how I would've hated it if they added that campaign co-op idea of yours to my goddamn Batman game. Can't please everyone I guess.

Based on the list, I think the multiplayer achievements only replaced what would've otherwise been those same ol' challenge map based ones anyway, so no big loss there if you ask me. Sometimes would rather get achievements by pulling in-game feats off against real players than mindless bots like in challenge mode. Feels more satisfying that way when I actually get dem "achievements".

Not like they took away from the quality of the story mode or anything by adding in a separate multiplayer either, which a good chunk of the achievements still seem story mode driven anyhow. 11 mp achievements is not that much by any means. If there were like 20+ of them out of the 50 or whatever then I'd agree.

Probably not as many would play the mode then if there were no achievements attached or something to go for, but wouldn't of minded if that had been the case.

I'll admit Arkham City took it a little far with the amount of challenges but I didn't mind it. I will agree, you can't please everyone. So it's not earning an achievement unless you play against other people?! Thats ridiculous. You even said yourself its a matter of boosting. Not to mention that beating most games single player story on the hardest difficulty is harder then most MP achievements. There was no point to add it in the first place. The arkham games, as seen by the success of the previous two, don't need it. It makes perfect sense to just add it as a little something extra. If they need achievements to draw people in then that tells me it has no appeal on its own. Anyways you like it cool for you and if you will enjoy playing it thats great but it was still an unnecessary addition. Had it only been 1-3 achievements it would have been a small annoyance and I probably wouldn't have cared as much. Although, the point still stands. The Arkham franchise is hugely successful single player game and mutiplayer isn't needed. Sure different strokes and all that but not every game needs mutiplayer.

That's... not what I was saying at all. I just said it's sometimes more satisfying getting an achievement by beating a real person on something in a game, than a bot. Which is why this games' mp achievements might be more fun for me to get than some of the others, as it often is in other games.

I agree though that multiplayer wasn't "necessary" in the first place. Never said or implied it was, but its addition also doesn't really hurt the integrity of the game or anything like some such as you seem to think. "Waaah, Arkham series is forever ruined now that they added something that isn't a single player feature!".

That's... really debatable. Depends on what the games are you're comparing. Halo's one of the first things that comes to mind where the MP achievements (especially the DLC ones) are harder to get than beating campaign on hardest difficulty (lollegendary).

According to one achievement you can do things like upgrade weapons on there, so once you get more exp and upgrading done, I'm sure the multiplayer becomes more playable/tolerable over time, especially as you get better at it. Even if the mode didn't have achievements, I'm sure plenty would still play it regardless, just the completionists wouldn't pay much (if any) attention to it, which ain't the majority of people that buy a said game.

Oh, and everything else I can pretty much agree on, even though you're just greatly repeating yourself at this point.

"Waaah, Arkham series is forever ruined now that they added something that isn't a single player feature!". Kind of the way you are complaining about all the challenges? 😉. The first game off the top of my head, gears of war 1, had a harder story on insane then anything I have ever done in mutiplayer. But as you said its debatable depending on the game. Granted I have played little Halo MP so I can't say how it stacks up. Im not against mp I just don't like it for the Arkham games or any game like it. Besides no matter the achievements in MP its just a matter of boosting or grinding to get'em. But to repeat myself...it's cool if you like it! No problem in that and its great you will enjoy it.

In all the other discussion I forgot about you asking this lol I think (not certain) that it is New Game+ at a harder difficulty and possibly more stipulations. Kind of like how AC had the challenges that added handicaps. Nothing has been confirmed but thats is kind of what.

Well I guess we've reached common ground now, so I won't really say anymore on the multiplayer discussion for the moment. If I was complaining that much about the challenge map stuff though, I also would've bitched about there still being a couple achievements pertaining to them in this game. 😛 I don't mind it compared to how it was in Arkham City, but the secret achievements at the bottom of the page got me thinking... Will they be just achievements pertaining to beating all challenges with Deathstroke, or will they be something story related, which they didn't show as to not spoil until you get to that part of the game?

As for I am the Night mode, hoping that's not the case, but if it is, I suppose I can still beat it, depending on what the handicaps are. Guessing there will be loads of moments where your detective mode vision's disabled like Arkham City's New Game +, among other things.
If I am the Night is simply just a harder difficulty than New Game + on the other hand (far as enemy's AI and damage increase), then I know I can do that easily enough, especially if the acquired gadgets and stuff from my first playthrough still carries over.

It was my thought that the secret achievements would be for the boss fights throughout the game. Although, you do bring up an interesting point. I hadn't even thought about them being for Deathstroke. I think handicaps could make the story Interesting/fun. I feel like they didn't need to add a mode for that though. Going about the handicaps the way judgement went with the declassified missions could have worked imo. I just wonder how hard they are gonna try and amp it. Originally the thought of New Game + in AC made me a little nervous because I didn't know what to expect but it really wasn't that much harder then normal.
