If Hulk could crack Ultron's hide then Doomsday should be able to wear him down eventually. As far as I remember Ultron didn't have any particular herald busting feats in that incarnation either.

This is way closer than most posters here seem to assume.

this is a great match up both adapt like crazy and find weakness in their opponents i think ultron is just overall stronger and would be to much for doomsday

If Ultron has the molecular rearranger he can heal his chassis, I think its a fight but hypnosis, the E Ray and solid physical abilities should give Ultron the win more than not.

ultron can be beaten by damaging his circuits on the inside.
Since adamantium doesn't absorb impact then with sufficient force it can be done.

DD can win without even having to damage adamantiu.

Ultron's blasts will do little to nothing to DD.

So DD wins.

lol hulk actually broke the adamantium and that didn't happen, that's why wasp had to do her part.

That is actually false, this version of improve has rather inferior fire power compared with Doomsday.

Keep in mind this is a very early version of Ultron, one that hasn't fully countered some of the basic ways to get through his armor. Wonderman will downright crush a more advanced one -assumedly with secondary adamantium-, and damaging the inside as H1 mentioned did happen at some point during that era.
