Heroes vs. Zombie Apocalypse

A group of heroes wake up from a coma 1 year after a zombie apocalypse has started. They are grouped into teams of 3, and their task is to kill as many zombies as they can, find survivors and form them into a resistance group or even small village, and defend/attack against any other aggressive resistance groups of people (yeah I've been watching too much TDW). The teams are:

Team 1: Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye
Team 2: Batman, Roscharch, Silk Spectre
Team 3: Wolverine, Punisher, Daredevil
Team 4: Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas
Team 5: Achilles, Conan (Momoa), Xena
Team 6: Frank Martin, Jason Bourne, Salt
Team 7: Rambo, James Bonde (Craig), McClane
Team 8: Roadblock, Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes
Team 9: Rocky, Yuri Boyka, IP Man

The zombies they'll be facing are modified RAGE zombies (28 days/weeks later). They're fast and strong as if they were on roids and doesn't feel pain. They're not only limited to biting and scratching but are also capable of other aggressive physical attacks like eye-gouging, smashing heads on walls, strangling, punching, kicking, etc... If any human gets bit or scratched, or even get infected blood in their eyes or mouth, they will turn within 5-20 secs. A few modifications I'd like to add to the RAGE zombies are: they can only be killed by disabling the brain, so headshots and decapitations and stuff. They don't starve and they don't get tired. Any human who dies (even a natural death) will turn into a zombie within 5-20 seconds. Zombies can detect humans by sound, smell, or sight.

Additional stipulations:
*All heroes are equipped with their basic gear and weapons. They are allowed to scavenge for other weapons. Due to hygienic purposes, they'll need to switch into civilian clothes sometime or later
* As it is already a year after the outbreak of the apocalypse, food and supplies is now very scarce. Most of the weapons were already scavenged by other survivors. There's no electricity and fuel is very rare... so no vehicles for this fight.
* We will assume that all hero teams are hostile towards one another and will consider each other threats to their own group of survivors.
* Any hero can get infected, even Wolverine with his HF. Any hero who dies will turn into a zombie.

So, which team kills the most zombies? Which team is most successful in organizing other survivors into a working group/small village? Which team is most likely to survive the longest against the zombies and against other teams (if team vs. team fighting eventually happens).

Probably Batman's team. Due to resources, a flying machine and plenty of hideouts.
No doubt he'd have a few fallout shelters with enough food to last.
The rest of em get bit eventually. Logan won't last long with the downgrade.

When it comes to dealing with survivors.
Batmans only competition would be Cap. Both are famous icons known by the public.

But Batman wins this. The Watchmen are just bonuses.

Well fuel is very scarce, so I don't think Batman's machines will be much use here. Maybe one excursion or two but that's it. The shelters will be very useful though. But I forgot to mention that this is a long term thing, like who will get to make their group survive for the longest time, so sooner or later his stores will run out and they'll have to hunt or scavenge for food.

Batman's team can still probably win, just thought I'd point out a few things.

You think Batman wouldn't plan ahead and have reserve resources of fuel for his Batplane and Batmobiles????

Only accessible by him, Morgan Freeman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt???

Madness.

Batman wins. Every billionaire has Safe Rooms. Wayne would have at least......5.

And a Batman with access to his basic equipment can traverse the zombie plagued Gotham and reach one of them easily.

I was under the impression that "basic gear and weapons" didn't include hideouts, bases, vehicles and a wealth of resources. eg Batarangs, Batsuit, grappling-device would be basic gear; not his chateau in the Swiss Alps.

Yup. I guess I should have clarified more in my OP. Heroes wake up from a coma 1 yr after the apocalypse, so they had no time to prepare for it. Eveyone just has their basic gear and just to be fair, they're all transported to different cities... cities different from their home cities. The idea was to find out which hero team would be most resourceful on the run.

Every Billionaire has Safe Rooms. Heck he had one in the Dark Knight.

The Batcave is the Ultimate Safe Room!

Zombies ain't finding and compromising that.

Wayne in film spent years being a recluse and funneling his resources into military crap and free energy. Bane found a couple of them.
They were filled with weapons capable of riding them out of this situation with ease.

Oh damn it! 🙁

To be fair, Bruce Wayne has probably read Max Brook's Zombie Survival Guide and has been prepared years and years in advance.

Lol. That was a great book... though it didn't quite cover the "fast zombie" type.

Batman in film escaped an inescapable prison and made his way back to Gotham with nothing more than the raggedy rags on his back!

With basic equipment he swings and glides his way back into Gotham like the stealthy ninja he is.

Any zombies he encounters on the way ain't gonna bite their way through his suit. He one shots the lot of em, hot wires a bunch of motorcycles and makes his way back to one of his saferooms after a long and arduous trek throughout the US.

Talia escaped. Also seemed to be that any well seasoned free rock climber with a decent jump could do the same.

Batman has been defeated by being swarmed by multiple guys before. I don't see him doing well against 100 rage zombies trying to tear his bat-balls off.

When was movie Bats overwhelmed by a swarm? I'm honestly curious if I'm forgetting something

Batman Begins, the people were effected by Scarecrow. Bats lauched himself out.

Wasn't he also sprayed by the Scarecrow? Iirc he got sprayed and was flopping around and Crow lit him on fire. Is that the correct scene?

Team 5. Swords never run out of ammo.

Can't see them avoiding getting swarmed by 50+ rage zombies.
