Malgus vs Revan

Inspired by “Bane vs. Malgus” thread. 😎

This time Malgus faces his contemporary, Revan. Both are bloodlusted.

Who wins this epic brawl?

Conditions: Malgus as seen in Deceived, Revan as portrayed in Revan.

Setting: Temple of the Ancients, where Bane fought Kas’im.

1) Sabers
2) Force
3) All-out

As for Force;

An alarm began to ring out in the hall, triggered by one of the other three soldiers. Before they could join in the fight, Revan thrust his hand, palm up, in the direction of the sealed durasteel doors, blasting them wide open with the power of the Force.

For Sabers, Revan is almost featless;

He came in with a high, overhand chop—an obvious feint meant to draw the defenses of his opponent upward, leaving his legs exposed to a quick follow-up strike.

Malgus should take this with mid-difficulty.

Yeah, in sabers from what we see Malgus looks much better.

In the Force, for instance, Malgus can kill Jedi with his FL, yet Revan has a high-level skill with tutaminis.
His TK feat you've posted is also impressive, not sure if it eclipses Malgus' TK though.

I wonder if Malgus would have done as well as Revan did against Vitiate.

Well, Malgus seems to have Revan beat in sabers.
Unless Revan dominates in the Force, Malgus will take the all-out.

Revan should be superior to Malgus in sabers, but is featless, his force feats are superior to Malgus' though imo.

I don't see anything that suggest he could have resisted the mental attacks of the Emperor. Malgus' was adept with lightning, but the purest form that Vitiate used against Revan would overwhelm him, especially if he tried to absorb it as Revan did.

Revan defeated several powerful Sith Lords, and despite the horrid descriptions of his battles is noted as one of the greatest duelists of his day. Malgus is pretty strong in sabers, but I doubt he'd have the technique to overcome Revan, who should be a far more technically proficient duelist.

Malgus has very powerful lightning, but with Nyriss Revan showed that he can turn it back on an opponent to the point of death. He did so against the Emperor as well, and even for a time absorbed a form of lightning that was pure dark side energy. I don't see anything that says he can't get around anything Malgus throws at him.

Revan wielded both sides of the Force simultaneously, something that I cannot recall being done by anyone else on a comparable scale. He survived and triumphed in saber combat against several high-level Sith Lords. He endured attacks that Malgus has never even dreamed of countering.

Revan every time, though not easily.

Going by the game, wasn't Malgus a higher level boss than Revan?
Anyway, Malgus has better saber feats and theres not an overwhelming difference in force feats.
