So Friendship is Magic finally gets a movie and it's what some descriptions on the internet say is about Twilight Sparkle going through a magic mirror to follow a thief who stole a crown from the Crystal Empire and the place the mirror transports people to is the humanized version of Equestria and Twilight must overcome the greatest challenge ever and find the crown while attending high school.

Seriously? High school? Proms? Stick versions of humanized ponies? Potential nauseating romance with the school's popular pretty boy?

As a Brony, I feel Equestria Girls is going to really bother me but I hope judging it so soon proves me wrong and I'm just jumping to conclusions. If I'm right though, then there's always pretending it was never canon and pray it'll never be brought up in Season 4 😐

Were you excited about the pony show in 2009? These people turned one of thelamest concepts into a really good show, I just hope they can do it again.

I'm hoping for that too but I just can't help but cringe at what I'm looking at in the trailer. I mean the whole magical non-human girl attending high school, being a klutz and falling in love and making friends with the locals while being picked on by snobby teens that want to be prom queen is so Disney Channel. I want to believe the movie will be good. I do! But I've been seeing that concept on TV so many damn times, I just don't know what to think now.

Well obviously the mean girl is the thief that stole the crown and it somehow got mistaken for the prom crown. Twilight being such a goody goody wouldn't dream of stealing it vack. It isn't as shallow as you make it out. Plus the joke about her having thumbs now should be entertaining.

Celestia's former student called Sunset Shimmer who is basically Twilight's Lightning Dust.

Lyra jokes seem almost to inside the brony community to be in a theatrical release, but thst would be hilarious. I thought only twilight goes through the mirror and the other ponies are just parallel dubbles or something.

Twilight and the thief are the only ponies we know so far that went into the mirror but it would be nice if Lyra followed.

Little after the credits shot of her walking through the mirror abd cheering would be perfect.

I know the video is making fun of me for my negativity but I gotta give Saberspark props and he has a point. Before, we were disgusted with ponies until FiM came along and we're treating the upcoming movie no different. Maybe a lot of good will come out of it. Maybe!

I was never "disgusted" with ponies.

Perhaps 'we' was wrong to use. I just meant that plenty didn't like cartoon ponies before. Some of us weren't exactly fans of the older generations. It's just a poor choice of words was all.

Still gonna see it. I refuse to be that ****ing guy who watches MLP and is too up his own ass to try out EQG. mmm

I've technically never even watched the show (most of my friends do) and I feel like this right now:

Anyway, so the crown is Twilight's Element of Harmony and she's seriously going to get it back by becoming prom queen. If you ask me, she should just channel her inner Solid Snake again and go into the school at night and get back what's already hers.

So it's not coming out anywhere near me. Is it worth buying on DVD?
