Skaar vs Gotenks

Skaar is walking by when he over hears Goten and Trunks arguing who's father is stronger, "Nuh uh! My dads the strongest!" "No way Goten! Mine is, easily." "I think you both have it wrong, everyone says my old man is the strongest there is." Trunks and Goten are taken back by this claim and turn to see where it came from, at first they're shocked by the sheer size of Skaar but that soon passes when Trunks immediately notices what's on Skaars back.

Trunks:"WOW! That sword's so cool! Let me swing it around!"
Skaar:"No"
Goten: "Come on pleeeeeease?"
Skaar: "I said NO"
Trunks:"Man you're no fun...HAH wait I have an idea Goten!"

- Skaar stares onward at the two kids-

Trunks:"How about this, you take us on and if we win, we get that sword *big grin*"

Skaar:"*smirks* You can't be serious...Whatever it's your funeral. You going to attack me both at once or will one sit on the sidelines until I'm done beating the other into the pavement?"

-The boys begin to power up and suddenly their hair changes into a bright gold-

Trunks:"Haha we have a different idea..Goten!"

Goten: "Right!"

Both:"Fu-Sion-HAH!"

A bright light erupts as Skaar shields his eyes just to now see neither of the children but a single person

Gotenks:"HAHA oh yeah! *stretches and winding up one of his arms* Oh man, you're going to get it now. That sword is as good as mine."

Skaar: "*smirks again* This may be a little more fun than I first anticipated."

Which adolescent takes it? Will Gotenks emerge victorious or will Skaar beat them senseless?

full old power will be formidable and outlast the SSJ3 transformation as I still think kids burn out if they use it for to long. Not SSJ3 then the fight drags out for awhile but outside of them throwing him into space and forgetting about the sword I'm not sure gotenks goofy self will win more times than they lose.

Same as the Goku vs Hulk thread but more in DBs favour, as we have Skaar being weaker than Hulk when SS1 Gotenks is equal to SS3 Goku.

Getting tagged by Skaar would be a painful experience, otherwise or surviving that Gotanks wins.

how durable are dbz characters compared to near WBHulk? Skaar was penetrating hulks skin with old power manipulated sand. Iv also seen dbz characters avoid fire couldn't skaar shift the plates and erupt volcanos for pure comic relief?

DB characters don't have anything physical to compare to Hulky characters. What they do have is the speed and energy blasts.

So long as Skaar doesn't grab or land a strong blow, Gotenks could use a barrage of beams ect.

But what about gotenks screams tactics and doing the 'smart' thing. They will get close and go h2h just because Skaar is such a big guy. Heck they might give him a free shot just to prove their stronger.

Gotenks "here I'll give you a free shot! Riiiiight here!" taps chin
Skaar grins "you sure about that little guy?"
Gotenks "what wrong? Scared?"
Then Skaar in response to the cocky little kid who obviously has some power gives him an old power strike right in the face.
Gotenks comically flies into space and possibly separates due to KO.

If they blast him from range without Skaar getting a shot in they still might give him a free hit while mocking him and being more cocky.

But you're right, I didn't think about in-character totally screwing up Gotenks' chances. Whether they go for range or H2H, eventually they'll get too cocky like with Buu.. Pushing the odds closer in Skaar's favour, 7/10.

Let's bring the beat back on this one, any new opinions?

Not to mention that while Skaar maybe physically weaker than Hulk, he still has the Old Power to draw upon. Which easily puts him on a supersaiyan's level of versatility and power.

Read it ages ago I believ on that DBZ databook site (Kazasomething), but last time trying to quote it I couldn't remember where exactly it was. May try and look for it again later.
