Hardly a nit pick as that was the biggest part of the episode and perhaps of the series as a whole. The slow mo, the way SkyeSpoiler:for lack of a better word, really the whole thing was just too over done and, yes, too dramatic.
hatched
Spoiler:
Skye was undergoing a life-changing transformation, inhumans were being introduced to the MCU and Tripp was dying
Playing that any way other than dramatic would be absurd.

Strange because I was under the impression she was already a regular. Anyway I'm glad she is. Step in the right direction for AOS.

I watch it, but I also get bored with it and spend a lot of time on my phone. The writing is not as good as Gotham, the action is not as good as Arrow and the humour and cheese factor is not as good as Flash *shrug*. I mainly watch it for Wade at the moment, as he seems to be the only three-dimensional character. All the others are quite boring characters, for me anyway.
I am really hoping Marvel does better with their upcoming series - at least they got Vincent D'Onofrio for Daredevil, which I think is a huge step in the right direction.
As for Skye? I lost interest in her in the first season. Maybe I'll like her more as Quake...

Looking forward to it - I've always been cheering for this show, I just wish they would make all their characters as interesting as Ward (sorry, I said Wade earlier). Oh, and Skye's dad, of course - but then Kyle McLachlan is on the same level as Vincent D'Onofrio will be, I think.

I've heard the coming "Marvel Knight" characters will be much darker more bloody, with more of a focus on the streets than the wider MCU. So I think they have a lot of potential. I'm personally looking forward to them.

Me too. The one that I'm keeping a close eye on is A.K.A. Jessica Jones. David Tennant as Kilgrave, and Carrie-Ann Moss, this should be good competition for Gotham. They promise dark and gritty, so let's hope they deliver. Plus I've been a Luke Cage fan since I first picked up a comic with him in it. Daredevil is looking good too...
*Edit. I see somebody from Dexter is spearheading Jessica Jones, so really this show should have no excuses and pull no punches.
