My thing is that I don't see how Ahsoka survived that encounter without Vader allowing it, especially when she made it clear she wasn't going to leave. One or way or another, I'd say it's reasonable to conclude that Ahsoka is only alive because Vader permitted it. Why that is, we can't know for certain at this time.

You sure she survived? Now that Ares brought it up, I'm not sure as the montage was kinda moving rather quick and it seemed like she either was walking or just fell into the darkness. I'm gonna watch it again though later and keep focused.
But he certainly would, she seemed to struggle(you can see strain on her face up close near the end.)

I could be mistaken as well.
Watched that ending scene several times now. Ahsoka walks into the darkness. Now whether that's symbolic of her death, her fall to the darkside, or jus...her being trapped is another thing.
But:
There were 3 Inquisitor fighters.
5th Brother and 7th Sister are confirmed dead. 0th Brother also had one fighter which he may have escaped on.
1 Fighter remains, likely to be used by Ahsoka for her escape of the planet. But she will return changed I think.
