An Ahsoka novel has been announced.
Ahsoka Tano, fan favorite character from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, will be the star of her own young adult novel from Disney Lucasfilm Press this October 11, 2016! Fans have long wondered what happened to Ahsoka after she left the Jedi Order near the end of the Clone Wars, and before she re-appeared as the mysterious Rebel operative Fulcrum in Rebels. Finally, her story will begin to be told. Following her experiences with the Jedi and the devastation of Order 66, Ahsoka is unsure she can be part of a larger whole ever again. But her desire to fight the evils of the Empire and protect those who need it will lead her right to Bail Organa, and the Rebel Alliance…

Hopefully, this is real and not an early April fools joke...
Now that I'm sufficiently refreshed: I'm not super impressed with the episode. It had a lot riding on it, but failed to deliver. I'll re watch it again tonight with hopefully better visual quality and see if my impression changes.
I enjoyed how fierce it made Vader as a duelist, dude definitely isn't some slow-ass behemoth, he's able to react to prequel-era acrobats and reflexes just fine.
But even the duels themselves weren't that well choreographed.

The Maul-Ezra interaction was just so weak in execution. Dude is blatantly untrustworthy. Approaching Traya-levels of obviousness. The challenges/tests surrounding the temple should have been more extensive and difficult. More time should have been spent on Vader. And his duel with Ahsoka. Blind!Kanan was an epic facepalm moment. Just goes on and on.
They just tried to cram so much shit in.
Tbh to an extent I agree with Tempest. It had some amazing moments but it could have been better executed, in particular I find the constant BFR's and the Inquisitor's repeatedly helicoptering to the next set piece to be a bit contrived. One other thing I found was the darker, chilling atmosphere of the show was occasionally breached by inappropriate humour.
It was a great episode, and delivered in a lot of ways, but not on level with the best of TCW just yet.

The helicopter blades were stupid as hell though...
