The World's End

The third and final installment of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy will be about the sci-fi genre.

The World's End is about five childhood friends who reunite after twenty years to repeat a legendary pub crawl from their youth (which they originally failed) returning to their hometown once again to attempt to reach the fabled pub "The World’s End". Over the course of the night, they begin to realise that the real struggle is "not just theirs but humankind’s", and completing the crawl becomes the least of their worries 'tonight we are going to get totally annihilated'.

I'm seriously amped to see this film! Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were brilliant, ans I expect The World's End to be no less!

interesting

Damn, now I want a cornetto.

Pretty sure i made a thread for this movie

unless someone deleted it....disgust

I searched for an existing thread but didn't find one.

Then again, the search engine sucks.

i found my one through Google which has 2 posts........for some odd reason i can't access it.

Awesome flick. Can't wait for it!

A mod making a duplicate thread eh?

Disgraceful. 😉

This is why I loathe our search engine.

I looked for an existing thread and found shit.

awermm

So now there's been 3 threads.

Ok I'll say it...I never understood the appeal for Hot Fuzz.
I enjoyed it but was expecting more...

I remember seeing a short trailer for this some time ago. Only question is can we all get drunk during the movie?

Movie looks like fun!

New trailer!

.

Bumpity bump..... since it comes out this week

back from seeing it

lots of laughs and a decent story with what they went with

8/10.

It was good. Funny enough. Not as funny as Shaun or Hot Fuzz but still better than 99% of all other comedies nowadays.

That's because British comedies usually don't follow any sort of formula.
The British version of Death at a Funeral nearly made me crack my ribs because I was laughing so hard.

One thing i've notice with the American comedies at the moment, not all of them...they seem to be relying more on crude humor & yelling to get the point across.

Just watched the trailer again - the dude with the earphone plays Dr. Watson in Sherlock.
