Nintendo should go third-party.

I mean, really. They're holding the industry back with their shitty online practices, outdated hardware, and rehashes. Imagine Mario and Zelda on a console with COMPETENT hardware and online.

Well, they aren't really holding back the industry.

But I'd like them to go third party as well. Would love to play Mario on my iPad, or Pokemon on my Xbox.

Same here. I used to not mind the idea of Nintendo going 3rd party for some of the mentioned reasons, but after seeing the mess that is the Xbox One, the thought of there being 3rd party Nintendo games on it would make me want to barf, especially after the whole Rareware fiasco between M$ and Ninty.
