Thor preserving himself from not getting killed isn't a strength match. Thor never locked arms with Kurse and matched strength with him. The narration telling doesn't matches with the on panel images. This is a non feat unless you think batman matched strength with superman which I posted.

The only authoritative thing out of all that was Amazo who was describing all the powers of JLA and them having the whole power of the jla when he cut it off. In the last scan Thoor hits him with Mjolnir and picks him up and throws him. That's nothing.

No, it's not nothing.

It doesn't take a lot of strength to pick up a very strong guy and throw them. CA has done that several times. Also Mjolnir hits harder than Thor's fists.
