Well the fact that Sidious was able to pull senate pods from there holdings forcefully with little effort and basically little time, how long do you think it's going to take for him to remove Khans weapons when they aren't even that much fastened on him. Also he has TK so he can just take his weapons away it's not that hard. Also if he pulled the guns out yoda and Sidious can just take the weapon away as yoda did against ventress.
